0 friends 1 review 1.0 star rating 2/19/2016 Worst experience ever. I brought my vehicle into Kelly's and dropped it off overnight for them to fix a broken lock. When I returned the following day to pick it up, I saw that the entire side of the vehicle had been smashed in. I immediately asked the owner, Gary, about it and he said that one of his other customers or delivery people must have backed into it. First and foremost he asked me to pay my $200.00 bill for simply replacing my door lock, which I promptly did. Then, he said it was no different than "being hit in the parking lot at Publix", therefore he was not responsible for covering the cost of this. He told me that I could go to a friend of his and get an estimate, which I did, and the estimate came to $650. Kelly said he would pay 1/2. This did not include the tint, which needed to be redone, time off from work, graphics which were on the door, nor the huge headache that this was going to cause me. I was told that the entire door would have to be replaced. This was going to take at least a week. Half would still require me to have paid $325 PLUS tint, and graphics, which will total roughly $400.00....and this was something that was NOT MY FAULT. INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, he mentioned that this 'very same thing' had happened two days prior to it happening to MY vehicle. He said he had to contact his insurance company about it, and this is probably why he didn't want to have to contact them yet again only a few days later for the same thing. His rates would be raised and he didn't want that. This is the treatment that a long time, loyal customer (me) has received by a person that I mistakenly thought was a very ethical man. I was sadly very wrong. All he had to do was apologize and take care of this matter, since it was done on HIS LOT, DURING HIS BUSINESS HOURS, AND HIS INSURANCE COMPANY WOULD HAVE TAKEN CARE OF IT...His employee had moved my vehicle while it was there and parked it in a crowded space allowing for it to be smashed.... The week after this happened, I called and spoke with his manager Jason, who was VERY APOLOGETIC AND SAID THAT HE HAD NO IDEA ANY OF THIS HAD HAPPENED. He asked me to give him one hour in which he would speak with Kelly and call me back with a, I waited, one hour, two hours went by....three hours.........that was 6 weeks ago. No call yet. I advise you to be careful when leaving your vehicle here.

To clarify, the entire side of the vehicle was not smashed, the door had a large dent from some one backing into it. This was an accident, as mentioned, no different than being parked in a parking lot and coming out of the store to find your vehicle hit and no one in sight, with you left footing the bill entirely by yourself. This wouldn't be the grocery stores fault and therefor they would only offer you an apology. The difference, we offered to cover half of the repair even though it was not our fault and was turned down. We apologized many times as this was out of our control. This was not the same as the issue prior that was mentioned above where our employee was involved in an accident which gets our insurance involved. We DO care about all of our customers and go above and beyond to keep them happy. We did our best to help an unfortunate situation and unfortunately could not come to an agreement, even though we were trying to help with half when we didn't have to. As a long time customer it pains us that you couldn't understand and insist we are in the wrong for not paying all of it.

My family has been loyal customers since we moved here in 1989. Gary, Jason and the crew are top notch professionals who go above and beyond to help a customer. They are fair and honest with their pricing and never try and sell you on work that isn't needed. Gary is always good about explaining the work that was done and if there are any issues he noticed that may need to be addressed in the future. These guys have a passion for their profession, not to mention cars, and it truly shows.

I called today to try to get a price quote for body work on my sons jeep. The gentleman who answered the phone, took the time to ask me questions, and referred me another shop that would best serve my needs. His professionalism and sense of honesty was admirable and as a result I took the time out of my busy day to give this shop a thumbs up.Truth is he could've just hung up the phone, but he took the time to help. For that in itself... Thank you!!

Kelly's is truly the best auto shop I have ever worked with. They are honest, fair and reliable. I only wish I had found them earlier. I would not take my car anywhere else. If you live in the Deltona area and you need a good mechanic you will not be disappointed in Kelly's.

This place is great! The manager is awesome. He explains why work needs to be done and they only do what is necessary. Their prices are very fair. When they are busy, they may recommend someone else who is also reliable and fair. I, as a women, use to cringe at the thought of having to take my car in for repair as I have gotten ripped off over the years. I have absolutely no problem with this shop. Thanks for being honest!

I have used Kelly's Automotive since 2003. Gary & Jason are both very honest people & they are very patient to their customers. They never try to up-sell anything. Heck, they are always so busy & really don't have time to play games to get your business.
