The world's largest and most significant collection of objects that tell the story of life and work with gas.  This quirky little museum has a big story to tell and a huge number of objects on display.  It's a fascinating insight into the history of gas for light, heat, cooking, washing and power.

To find us, look for the red brick clock tower on Aylestone Road, Leicester.

Visit  www.nationalgasmuseum.org.uk for up to date information.

Please do phone to check that we will be open before travelling a long way to see us, as opening hours can occasionally change at short notice.

Very interesting and familiar. Shame there is only the one in the country. Ideally more room needed and info next to exhibits or audio option through iphone and own earphones? Chuck a few grand at it to set this up and definitely 5 star. Of course a nice brew as you look around would help.
