Hi, everyone.  See the attached GMO blacklist.  This is really scary, because I am starting to not know who to believe anymore.  Muir Glen is on this list and I have been buying their organic tomatoes in BPA free cans.  Silk is on there and they actually put the non GMO label on their packages of almond milk.

Aside from not being able to eat dairy, gluten, soy, or msg, I knew there had to be a reason I no longer go to McDonald's.  Gross.

Growing Food  -

Hey, everyone.  I am in the midwest where it seems to be raining almost every day now.  I have not watered my garden in at least a week maybe more.  I have harvested a few grape tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, but none of my heirlooms, like Brandywine, Arkansas traveler, and Mortgage lifter.  Is this likely due to so much rain?

+rob gordon I don't really want to give them fertilizer.  My tomato plants are already so high and big, they are falling over.  I staked them early in the season, some of them with several stakes.  I think it was the micromax fertilizer I gave them that made them get so big.  One of the plants literally grew 6 inches over night.  I am not sure about the others.

This video of this dog skateboarding is terrific.  I don't think I have ever seen a dog skateboard like a human before.

Yes, tomatoes ripen slowly when it is raining.

A government FINALLY does something that actually makes sense...  Now, if all states would do this for people with any illness.

No mystery there.  They are basically in leagues with the drug companies to make sure we all stay sick.

This is great! Nutrition is key to healing, and it's glad to see some medical professionals are beginning to see it that way!

A Tour of My Garden  -

I am so excited.  So far, I have spotted 5 little maters about the size of a quarter and shaped like little footballs.  The shape seems a little weird considering most are mortgage lifters.  I do have some volunteer plants that I am not sure what they are.

Story
Introduction
Hi, everyone.  I am looking to meet other people with similar interests.  While I work in a library, I want my focus on Google+ to be reaching out to new friends, family, and other people on the quest to be healthy and gluten free.  I would love to swap recipes and ideas on being healthy and gluten free.  The furball in my profile photo is my cat Morgaine.  I like scifi, horror, and drama movies.  I don't watch tv, as I find it to be mostly junk, but I do watch shows on Netflix.
