wait, yahoo's ad-sales problems are a result of the vogue for programmatic ad buying? the numbers there just don't add up, at least by my math. audience buying is definitely hurting many top-tier publishers -- i don't buy the rising-tide crowd -- but i don't think yahoo can just blame what the wall st crowd likes to call 'externalities.'

yes, the irony of sharing this on a new social network...

starting to put together our social conference for the fall. the idea is the 'social operating system.' now that social has moved out of this interesting area and into all media, what does it mean for these industries. we're putting together a list of top-level speakers. we want to skip the panel format thing in favor of short, TED-like presentations, Q&As, debates, etc. who are some great people to target?
