There are plenty of races on Sunday to get involved with the Quad Cities Marathon! Even if you aren't running 26.2 miles, there are 6 other shorter ones. Today is the Fitness Expo at the TaxSlayer Center open to the public. Don't want to run! Come and cheer on the runners! buff.ly/2QHchcn

Learn how to identify birds and their habitats with expert ornithologist Kelly McKay. Kelly will lead birding tours to various areas of Nahant Marsh. Tonight is the Wine Down at Lander Crest Winery. Dinner is served 5:30-8:00 pm and includes all-you-can-eat prime rib or 2-entree buffet and salad bar. From 6:30-9:30 p.m., it's live music from the Whoozdads, so don't forget your dancing shoes!

The Putnam Museum & Science Center opens its doors free of charge to all Museum Day ticketholders on Saturday, Sept. 22, as part of the Smithsonian’s annual Museum Day. Museum Day tickets are available for download at https://buff.ly/2NTGndV and provide general admission for the ticket holder and one guest on Sept. 22. Visitors must register in advance and present tickets at the Putnam ticket counter.
