I loved it here. It was small, and quiet - making it really relaxing. It also meant that the staff were SUPER attentive. The facial was less intensive then I'm used to, but my skin looked great for weeks afterwards. I loved the water treatment. It was relaxing physically and mentally, this spa is the only spa in the US that I've been to that offers them. The body scrub/wrap felt great, my skin glowed for weeks. The spa itself was well equipped, and I plan to go back again next month. I'd be there every week if I had the time.

Oh why didn't I pay attention to the reviews on this board? If you are going for a facial, I would recommend you go elsewhere. As a couple of previous reviewers stated, the facial only consisted of applying different creams and taking them off. There was no steam, no removal of blackheads/whiteheads, nothing special for my lips and under eyes. She didn't even use a lighted magnifying glass to examine my skin, which is common practice for a facial. I'm not even sure what products they were using. The hand and foot treatment was a joke. I am so disappointed and felt that I have wasted my money. For the money I paid, I could have went to one of the larger, more reputable spas and received a better quality facial. I would NEVER recommend this place for a facial. Please...spend your money elsewhere. I wish I had listened to the wisdom of the discussion board and selected somewhere else.

Bought the groupon for 2.5 hour- 30 min Hand treatment, 60 min massage and 60 min facial. It turns out they combined the hand treatment with the facial and it ended up being lesss then 1.45 hours total. The hand treatment machine wasn't working so I asked to come back and have that done again- they only did for 15 minites and just put some lotion and warm gloves on me.- No parrafin, etc. The facial consisted of just applying lotions. For the price this was NOT a good deal compared to others I have gone to since.

Just used my groupon today for an antiaging facial. Was worried after I read the reviews right before I went! Reception area is barren as described but Lisa, the woman who did my facial, greeted me, I filled out the paperwork and we went back. The room was quiet with soft music with a padded, heated lounger with a nice blanket for me to rest on while she did my facial. I enjoyed it, it was very relaxing and I have no complaints.

I decided to use this place because of the condition of my lower back and very strong and good references of this place. Was pleasantly surprise by the attention and knowledge and experience of the masseur. He understood the problem and in a few days I feel a lot of improvement. Definitely coming back!!!

I went here because I never had a massage before and Groupon had a deal, so I bought it. I read up on the reviews on Google on the day of my appointment. I was a bit disheartened, especially by the three single-star reviews. I have to disagree with those reviews strongly. Granted, I don’t have much experience receiving massages, but my first experience was great. I recommend this place. Ask for Sharon. She is a nice, elderly lady who gave me my massage. Disclaimer: I am not an employee of this place trying to inflate the positive reviews. After my experience, I thought the three negative reviews weren’t justified, so I felt compelled to counter those with my positive one.

Terrible! Just terrible! I bought a groupon for a 60 minute "deep tissue massage". What a joke. It was not a massage at all. There is no way he could have been a certified massage therapist. I actually wanted to leave within 5 minutes but I thought I would hurt the man's feelings so I stayed. Wish I hadn't. Do NOT go here. Any of the high ratings you see listed are probably created by Enigma Day Spa employees. This place is a fake!

I am only reviewing since the spa keeps having Groupon deals. I always research when buying Groupons and my experience here actually made me stop buying spa groupons unless I know trustworthy people who have visited. It seems anyone can post a review just as a marketing tactic. My Aromatherapy Massage experience: Expected a "spa" atmosphere as presented by their website (which I like). The outside immediately threw me off as it looked more like a DR office or paint store. Walking inside, the reception area was empty. Completely bare, bright walls, only 2 mismatched chairs in the room and an empty display case. When someone came out front to greet me I filled out my forms and head to my room. My masseuse was sitting in the small room when I walked in, left for me to change then came back and told me she had a hang nail and "had to take care of it so it doesnt drag across my skin"...which was nice of her to take care of but I didn't need to hear about it. The massage made me feel very awkward. My attendant was nice but kept telling me to relax, which I couldn't because I was hoping it would end. I could hear everything going on in the building. Also I tried to let her know I did not want to chit chat but she kept trying for small talk. Looking back I don't remember any "aromatherapy" but that is quite alright. I do remember after the foot massage she moved directly to massaging my face. Even though its my own body, I did not like that. After it was over, I was again the only guest in the building, my masseuse led me to the back area and to offer water and showed me who would "show me out". My Groupon was already taken care of in the beginning and I already handed her a tip. The lady acknowledged me but proceeded to have a long conversation with another employee. Once she was ready to see me off, there was a strange and obvious nod between my masseuse and the woman, then she immediately smiled and offerred me a discount for return services. It was another awkward moment as it made it seem like they only offer future discounts if you tip, and so maybe when the services aren't as expected people don't normally feel bad and tip them anyway? Oh well. I'm sure this is the right place for someone, but not for me. There could be a lot of improvements, even just cosmetically, that could make this seem more like a "spa". I don't plan on returning.
