The burger that I had was amazing. It's a very interesting restaurant with lots of nice people. The place is really packet which means it's good but it does take a bit longer to get your order.

Food was absolutely delicious. So many options to pick from, we went with two different solo pizzas along with the chicken and waffles and for dessert we had the strawberry fields. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through boulder.

I always hold out hope that this place will get better with time, and it just never does. Food wise, it leaves much to be desired. Whenever I order delivery (don't even get me started on the $15 min charge) I can count on them screwing it up without fail. And eating in the restaurant it's even worse. Soggy fries, (smothered with Cajun seasoning) soggy bread on the sandwiches (also smothered in Cajun seasoning), all of the specials (you guessed it, covered in Cajun seasoning) and how Scott the executive "cook" still has a job there is baffling. I mean even a broken clock is right twice a day. The service is completely disorganized, and they cut corners to the point of upsetting customers. You have to ask for silverware and napkins? Really? What are you joking? I'm surprised they give people straws in drinks. Also the menu is intentionally misleading. Their half pound burgers are actually 7oz, which doesn't sound like a big deal but, it's like c'mon the ounce of meat they save must cost them what, a whole penny when bought in bulk, so that for every 7 burgers ordered there's one more burger. Their Wednesday night special on wings are what $.75/wing? Hang on I'm getting a call, ring ring, "Hi, this any other wing place, you lose". The only saving grace of this place is the decor done long ago, the Monday night drink specials, and the cool people you can meet that frequent it because of it's location on the hill. Given the many givens, I would say steer clear.

Their food is great and is worth the little extra it costs over a normal burger place. But I'm taking off two stars because of how much hassle it is that they screw up more than 2/3rds of the delivery orders I make. They aren't going to start getting it right until we call and complain to force them to waste money sending a driver out for the corrections.

Ths was the first "den of Iniquity" I visited as a freshman in 1963. I will visit again this month , 6/13, to see how close my name on the ceiling is to Barak's. My primary memory was the bouncer bringing another keg from the back room on a dolly, yelling "Watch your feet!" I missed Robert Redford yeling that by about 5 years. Coors by the pitcher for $1.25. Nickel draws on Monday nights. Oh yes, "only the best buns on our burgers." Barak wasn't even alive then.

Excellent place with amazing food. Grass-fed burgers are out of this world. Cant go wrong with the sweet potato fries. Also, they have a great selection of beer and $1 wells from 10-11 p.m. every night. The ambiance is very fun and unique, HOWEVER, this place can get very uncomfortable during dollar wells hour, as the crowded area with the very low ceilings is a recipe for claustrophobia. Other than that, this place has earned my loyalty for sure! Be sure to call the bar tender, Annie, "Babe, sweetheart, or toots." She won't respond to anything else, and will not be offended by the nicknames.
