The Sink? Extremely disappointed in how this restaurant opperates as a company. They cater several Fraternity houses in Boulder and appear to dump their left overs on our kids. The houses get spoiled milk, moldy bagels, seriously? Completely inedible. Do not support this company - they do not care about their customer base and provide exceptionally poor service.
Response from the owner - a month ago
Hi Vicki, We appreciate your feedback. The problem with the food was in part, related to equipment issues at the empty house over spring break and, in part, an oversight by our cook. There was a gallon of expired milk and the blueberry bagels displayed some discoloration that was not mold. Upon learning of the issue this morning, 3/31, our Chef Matt met with Daniel and they resolved the issues. We provide our fraternity clients with fresh, restaurant quality, scratch made meals. The guys eat well. Fresh Herb Roasted Chicken with garden vegetables and roasted red potatoes for dinner Sunday, fresh made Beef Bolognese for dinner on Monday and scratch made Chipotle Roasted Pork burritos for dinner tonight. Please come in and be my guest for a meal at The Sink. I would love to give you a tour of our kitchen and show you how we operate. You can reach me at mark@thesink.com.

A good selection of food at a reasonable price. Very cool to eat at such a historic place.

Their food is great and is worth the little extra it costs over a normal burger place. But I'm taking off two stars because of how much hassle it is that they screw up more than 2/3rds of the delivery orders I make. They aren't going to start getting it right until we call and complain to force them to waste money sending a driver out for the corrections.

I always hold out hope that this place will get better with time, and it just never does. Food wise, it leaves much to be desired. Whenever I order delivery (don't even get me started on the $15 min charge) I can count on them screwing it up without fail. And eating in the restaurant it's even worse. Soggy fries, (smothered with Cajun seasoning) soggy bread on the sandwiches (also smothered in Cajun seasoning), all of the specials (you guessed it, covered in Cajun seasoning) and how Scott the executive "cook" still has a job there is baffling. I mean even a broken clock is right twice a day. The service is completely disorganized, and they cut corners to the point of upsetting customers. You have to ask for silverware and napkins? Really? What are you joking? I'm surprised they give people straws in drinks. Also the menu is intentionally misleading. Their half pound burgers are actually 7oz, which doesn't sound like a big deal but, it's like c'mon the ounce of meat they save must cost them what, a whole penny when bought in bulk, so that for every 7 burgers ordered there's one more burger. Their Wednesday night special on wings are what $.75/wing? Hang on I'm getting a call, ring ring, "Hi, this any other wing place, you lose". The only saving grace of this place is the decor done long ago, the Monday night drink specials, and the cool people you can meet that frequent it because of it's location on the hill. Given the many givens, I would say steer clear.

The building is cool. The food was very disappointing. Tried all the items featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. The fried mac and cheese balls tasted good, but were stil frozen in the center. The cowboy reuben with beef brisket, not good, the meat was old and dry. the pizza was almost inedible, the crust was like cardboard. and i received my side salad after we had finished eating. took 20 minutes to get the bill. never going back there.

The burger that I had was amazing. It's a very interesting restaurant with lots of nice people. The place is really packet which means it's good but it does take a bit longer to get your order.

Food was absolutely delicious. So many options to pick from, we went with two different solo pizzas along with the chicken and waffles and for dessert we had the strawberry fields. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through boulder.
