For the last couple weeks I've devoted my time to blowing the dust off the query letter for Moving Fear , writing a new one for PRICK , not to mention making sure my Query Tracker subscription was up-to-date. Now that I've severed ties with my previous agen...

How is this for timing? On Monday I lamented about how this blog has become rather stale and re-committed myself to revitalizing it (the post was pre-written and scheduled) -- and Sunday night I was tagged with the Sunshine Blogger Award. The Sunshine Blogg...

Two Steps Forward – One Step Back
I’ve chronicled my journey towards publication…in
detail…here on my blog. There have been the false-starts, steep learning curves,
detours – both personal and creatively, extensive querying, all of it culminating
with my current rigorous submission process....

Easy Beauty - Revisted
This was originally
posted in March 2010. We all read a lot of blogs.   I mean A LOT.   The content is so
diverse, ranging from instructional, insightful, inspirational, comedic, and everything

The Blog Reclamation Project

Can a man of few words...write a successful novel?
Introduction
Continually trying to answer the question...can a man of few words write a successful novel?

I'm a Mystery/Thriller/Suspense writer from small town USA who struggles everyday to balance my passion for prose against the need to be a full-time bread winner. Finding ways to devote more time to my writing is the challenge, but for now all I can do is follow this tug at my heart to wherever it leads. I'm here primarily to soak up all the knowledge I can from the writing-centric blogosphere, but I'll do my best to contribute by thinking of new and innovative ways to churn the writing pot.
