I do not recommend having a gutter water pass through the building. Use gutter extensions sloped away from the building.

When was the last time you flushed your tankless/on demand water heater? Check out this maintenance tip video about cleaning your tankless/on demand unit https://youtu.be/znuACzzav_Y
Before you start, review the manufacturer's maintenance instructions for your water heater. Make sure that your water heater has "flush valves." And don't forget to clean the built-in water filter.
If in doubt, talk to a professional plumber. http://ow.ly/5ewI308vHu5

Pictures say it all. Everyone should test for Radon in the air and well water. Tests should only be performed by Radon Technicians certified through NRSB and NRPP. Sometimes only one person in the company is certified and not the technician doing the testing. To ensure that the testing is performed properly and to EPA protocols, make sure to ask the technician for their individual certification number.
Statistics from the EPA through my recertification course at RTCA

Winter is coming! Hose bibbs installed in unheated locations should be frost proof type. Exposure to freezing temperature may result in a broken valve or piping. Locate the inside shutoff valve for these hose bibbs, and shut off the water when freezing temperatures are anticipated and ensure that hoses are disconnected from hose bibbs and the water is drained from the hose and hose bibb. Hose bibbs can be upgraded to a frost proof type of hose bibb if desired. Consult with a qualified plumber for upgrades https://wagnerinspection.com/content/uploads/2016/09/FROST-FREE-BIBB.jpg

Not sure that the manufacturer's suggestion of mounting this in the kitchen is the best idea. Holiday gift idea anyone?

How many of you have seen one of these? You open the lid, put the animal droppings inside, shut the lid, and flush. It flushes the animal droppings into the sewer system.

Do you plan to open up that bathroom wall or the wall adjoining the bathroom? Watch out! You’d better check for used razor blades. Today, during home inspections, I still see medicine cabinets with a disposal slot for used razor blades. It was common practice in older homes to dispose of razor blades through this slot, sending that used blade down into the bathroom wall. So what’s in your wall? http://ow.ly/i/mhQHf
