Bad soup & service, some tasty items First, let me talk about the environment. The place has very bright colors. The building appears to be older. The place seems somewhat cramped with tables very close to each other. This lead to a lot of background noise which made it difficult to hold a conversation, though this was not unbearable. They have some spots near the door which are a bit chilly because of the draft of the door. The servers appeared somewhat disorganized and very inefficient in handling people's orders. It took about 4-5 minutes before we were seated. Another 10-15 minutes before anybody took our orders. I ordered the spicyfu and my wife ordered the mac & Cheese with the Miso Soup. I have had Miso soup from sushi places before that was very tasty, but this soup was . very overpowering in a very bad way. The salt flavor was overpowering. The waitress informed me that they used a half and half mixture of Braggs Liquid Amino, and something else. My wife, who has menieres disease and has problem with high levels of sodium, could not eat it. And I, who do not have any such problems with sodium, would not want to as it tasted horrible. I discussed this with our waitress to see if anything could be done about this 4$ so-called miso soup that we were eating. Ultimately, the owner refused to allow us to do anything Even though my spicyfu meal was good, I will not be coming back. I don't like giving money to companies that have little respect for providing quality food.

Fantastic vegan cafe in a cozy little neighborhood just south of downtown Kansas City. I had the Tex Mex Wrap and it was excellently done. The price is very reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Be aware that the restaurant is cash only. Would absolutely go to this place again and would recommend it to everybody else.

Some of the best food I've ever had. Ever. The BBQ jack and the chalupa are so good it almost made us stay the night in KC just so we could eat there again. Worst part is that we couldn't try everything on the menu. Another review said this place should be sold out every night, and I couldn't agree more.

This place is AMAZING. I went to KC for a couple days and really wanted to stop in here for a bite to eat. Instead we tried several things off the menu and each plate was so delicious! The Nachos, Rainbow Taco, Eggywhich and of course the Cashew Ice Cream. The staff is wonderful, our waitress was so friendly and adorable! Being from a town that really doesn't have anything for Vegans this place was a breath of fresh air and we will be back again and again!

This is the most amazing vegan place I have ever eaten at. Luckily it's in Kansas City...the best thing on their menu is their amazing nachos. Go for the big one, not the small size...it's worth it...next one the best list would be their Mac n Cheese...then the Tex Mex wrap (I always ask for an extra wrap to make two out of it). The price is great, the service is great and it's also BYOB! How else can this place get any better? It's can't! That's how it can get better...their ice cream is also amazing with their brownies! Sometime there is a wait for food but it's BYOB so there is no reason to complain and it's freshly cooked food, it isn't mcdonalds where things are pre made...

In love with this place. Found it by accident and I wish I lived nearby I could eat it for every meal. Also their fried Chkn tacos are so good and in a blind taste test I bet a meat eater couldn't tell it isn't chicken, cheese, or sour cream.

My favorite restaurant without meat! I first had the Jackfruit BBQ sandwich from a organic grocer and it was so good that i had to come here and have it again. I also tried the Tex-Mex Chkn Wrap and I recommend these two items for if you've never been here. I was very happy once I finally came here, I'm not vegan or vegetarian but after one visit this is one of my favorite places. Also the vegan caramel shake was awesome
