Learn about one of the ways to identify dives: the Archer’s Bow pose: According to a nonverbal behavioral study by University of Portsmouth (UK) this is one of the behaviors players show when trying to deceive the referees. The archer’s bow pose is completely counter to the normal body reflex in an unexpected fall, which makes a person open their eyes, look down to see the landing spot and extend their arms to the front trying to cushion the fall.
