Today is the Hiroshima Anniversary.

Immediately after the Bombing:

"I fought with myself for 30 minutes before I could take the first picture. After taking the first, I grew strangely calm and wanted to get closer. I took about ten steps forwards and tried to snap another, but scenes I saw were so gruesome my viewfinder clouded with tears" (The Viewfinder Clouded with Tears, written by Yoshito Matsushige).

2,270 m from the hypocenter.
West end of Miyuki Bridge.

Something about Hiroshima and Nagasaki tells that there aren't many known photographs that were taken after the bomb during the same day.
