The Mariners obsession with power impacts more than the MLB roster, for worse and maybe for better too.

The Mariners had a bad first half, and it doesn't look like a fluke. Prepare for a rough second half.

Very very interesting and pretty good summary of what's plaguing us a ball club. I think to get any value we can for Cruz iwakuma and maybe even Ackley it would benefit us down the road. Sadly, Jack and mcclendon won't be around to see how it turns out. Such high hopes this season, it's just a shame

Forgettable First Half Suggests Forgettable Second Half
The Mariners had a tough first half, especially given the expectations going into the year. It is hard to find an interesting spin on this team worth writing about. Seemingly anything noteworthy is depressing and obvious. The Mariners aren't a comically bad...

Might as well write a bit about Montero since he's back in the bigs for at least a little bit.

Its a concerning truth. Our minor league system has only a few guys with a reliable bat. Kivlehan seems to be consistent enough to contribute in the near future. Baron has been very impressive with a small sample size. Landry flashes pop at times. Other than that our prospects aren't really impressive or improving. Coaching seems to be a concern in the organization from top to bottom

Jesus Returns
The Mariners made three roster moves last night; of those three, two of the players called up got in the game (Danny Farquhar and Vidal Nuno). However, the player garnering the most attention is Jesus Montero . Jesus Montero (Wikimedia Commons, Keith Alliso...
