My favorite donuts are the strawberry lavender donuts. The donuts are light and airy and they don't make you feel weighted down after eating them. They have great coffee as well. I haven't had a chance to try the chicken, but I will soon. Everyone I know raves about the chicken. I almost feel like they could expand because they are always so busy when I go in. The workers are very nice and friendly. I like supporting local businesses.

There are donuts with unique flavors in here you cannot find in Dunkin Donuts in Philly. But they're also $2 a pop. I tried the Crumberry Doughnut. It had a good fluff and volume, and was dense so you're getting your money's worth but it was just too sweet for me. Kudos for the creativity and uniqueness in taste but my taste buds don't want another. I prefer to stick to those in Doughnut Plant or just Dunkin Donuts. They also sell Korean style fried chicken ... An unusual combination with doughnuts. This is heart attack central here but if is constantly sold out hours before closing time, they must have some credibility as a go-to food place in the neighborhood.

For A little spot, they do serve a large feasting of people! Get there around 11am and snag yourself the best combo, fried chicken and donuts (well, that's all they sell). I was a fan of the coconut curry dry seasoned chicken. The way the chicken was fried reminded me of some of the local spots in the south I would go to eat, solid. I could have gone with a little more breading but that's just me. The glazed ginger were lightly gazed as well, instead of a fuller wet coat. My personal preference is for the lighter so I appreciated the restraint... Though I could have had a little more concentration in the glaze. The donuts are the champ pairing, a hot one paired with every order. Chomping back and forth on such a tasty treat is well worth the price. The donuts come in two types, "hot" and "fancy". You won't find a large selection but they do make a nice variety. I enjoyed my watermelon cucumber lime donut, but when I got to my strawberry ginger I didn't feel there was any ginger and the strawberry didn't taste that much different than the watermelon. Still, they were tasty and the base cake has a nice creamy flavor and is nice and soft. I really enjoyed this place, I would definitely recommend it.

I love all things Federal Donuts, hands down some of the best donuts to be had! My favorite is the lavender and the chocolate sea salt. The coffee is delicious, and staff are always friendly.

This place is a truly special spot, a hidden gem of Philly. Chicken n Waffles? Try Chicken n Donuts! That's right, this place not only serves expertly crafted and artisan flavored donuts but they fry up some of the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life. Flavors like strawberry watermelon and banana cream pie mixed with mouth watering fried chicken. Definitely go for the chili-garlic wing combo. Bottom line: Chicken n Donuts, nuff said.

The vanilla lavender donut is amazing. Just the right touch of sweet and savory!
