We took Asphalt 8: Airborne for a spin, and it left us quite impressed. Check the review.
I love a good racing game. My introduction to the PS2 was Gran Turismo 4, and I was so hooked on Need For Speed that it might as well have been meth. For a while, I purchased every Need For Speed game they released and still have a few. There's nothing like a good arcade racer.

Modern file managers are aplenty on Android, but we pick some of the best ones currently.
One of the most obvious advantages that Android holds over its competitors is the ability to have complete control over your files rather than leaving it entirely to the system and individual apps to manage in the background. There's a lot of choice in how you manage your files though, so we're here to lend a hand.

What does it take to make a great Markdown word editor for Android? And why did the ClockworkEngine team decide to go Android-first? We ask, and they answer.
Blogging is no longer an activity which requires a seat in front of a desk, and mobile writing apps are now an essential part of the online writer's toolbox. A shining Android example in this genre is LightPaper, the Markdown-compatible, feature laden baby of the folks at Clockwork Engine.

Is Repix another photo filter and editor, or is it more? Mark Myerson takes a look.
As an exponent of photography in a professional capacity, I just like taking photographs, no matter what the equipment in my hand may be, and that includes my phone. Unlike many of my iOS-owning counterparts, however, the range of high quality Androidography apps at my disposal is pretty small. This, in essence, can be attributed to the two main general deficiencies Android is trying to overcome — hardware, and third party apps. For many years, t...

Few apps make good use of Android 4.2's Daydream feature. DashClock is the ultimate one. We explain why.
With 4.2 Jelly Bean, a new function was introduced to Android called Daydream, allowing you to set a pseudo-screensaver when your device is charging. From using your phone as a night clock or your tablet as a photo frame, Daydream is a convenient feature that we have already explored along with several useful apps.

Are you thinking about purchasing Prince of Persia? Maybe you should read our review first (spoiler: not so great)
When I was younger, one of my favourite games on my Gamecube was Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. And maybe it's out of a sense of nostalgia, but I even saw the movie (it was terrible). That being said, I never got a chance to try out the much-heralded original 2D PoP game.

Biophilia is a musical experience involving games and music tracks. It is unique and our Nathan Snelgrove was particularly smitten. Check his review.
It’s not often that I use an app that makes me feel like I’ve been on a journey to another place or another planet. It’s even rarer that I use an app that subjugates my entire brain, seemingly grasping it within some sort of odd control that I don’t understand. As I write this, I’m having problems focusing. Oddly melodic strings of notes bounce and roll through my brain and flashes of lights and stars keep whirring by when I should be focused on ...

Mark Wilson has been trying to love his Nexus 7 for a while, but the multiple issues with the device are stopping him from enjoying it. He explains.
If you have spent any time online over the past few months, you can't help but have become aware of the Nexus 7. Even if you weren't actively seeking out information about the device, you've probably absorbed a great deal as if by osmosis.

Although it has been available for a while, Action Launcher Pro keeps adding great features and allowing more customization, becoming a real threat to Nova Launcher and Apex Launcher. In this review, we look at 3 of its most significant features (and touch up on a lot of others), so check it out!
The home launcher forms the backbone of our devices and is quite possibly the single most important application when it comes to usability. It not only defines how we interact with our phone but also invariably determines the look and feel of it. Our devices obviously come preloaded with the ...

Looking for some good laughs? Samuel recommends iGag and Cheezburger. Here are the reviews.
In today's society the internet is one of the best resources for humor and people are constantly looking for funny pictures and media to make them laugh. However, despite having my Android device with me, there was a lack — in my opinion — of humor apps available on the platform.
