Winter is coming! Here's a great shot of Whistler's pretty snow-covered pines.

Our in-house snow guru, Aly, predicts snow in North America from now on:

"I had a look into my magic ball, and this weekend’s snow will taper out today, and then turning settled for the rest of the week, but temps should remain cold. It’s a bit too far out to be completely confident, but the snow should start flying again next weekend. The atmospheric set up is looking really good, and the trends are showing a series of storms to roll through the Whistler area. It’s a classic winter set up for the Pacific North West, with storms rolling out of the Gulf of Alaska and making their way down the coast.

Other notable areas: Jackson Hole should see a bit of snow through Tuesday, and Colorado should get in on the action on Wed/Thursday."
