Well for myself being on a fixed income the option of buying another computer is not an ability.I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit .I don't seem to have any problems with it other than my Chrome browser not wanting to come up recently.
I know by running the older and now unsupported OS that i am is a possible risk.I'm smart enough not only sense wise but tech wise to know the possible risk i am facing but when you have now monies or other option to upgrade the OS what are you supposed to do???
Also the hardware i have on my system is only made for a 32-bit OS and is too old to run a newer one so i am stuck there too.If the option of a FREE UPGRADE to WINDOWS 7 would work with the current hardware i have i am all for it.I too believe it is unfair to others not only like me but otherwise to make them upgrade a piece of hardware or software they have grown to love using and to this day still do.I also know some of us out there aren't able to upgrade or out right buy a newer system just because of this.Maybe if we all stopped using Chrome and went to another browser completely would they then find some way of continuing the Chrome updates and remove the dang prompt that continued to bug and harass us all when we try to use our favorite browser that they would see what the cost of doing this is to them and their bottom line.Just sayin'.

For the love of landscape...
Alwive Pond, on the Alwive Woods Preserve, Kennebunk Land Trust. About a mile and a quarter from the nearest road still open to motor vehicles, nestled back in a chunk of wild lands between rural roads. I always go hoping for Moose (I saw one here many years ago). Even without Moose it is a wonderful little pond, with a lot of peat bog around the edge. Sony HX90V in-camera HDR. Processed in Lightroom.
