Black Magic is a power optimizer for photovoltaic systems; it increases the efficiency and, therefore, the electricity production by up to 80%.
How? Not everyone knows that only 10 – 12% of the solar energy is transformed into electricity introduced into the grid: this figure may even worsen due to environmental and meteorological factors and/or due to constructional problems with the system (design or installation errors, ageing of panels, etc.). If these problems are neglected one runs the risk of rendering the investment in the photovoltaic system uneconomic.

The Black Magic technology is applicable to new and existing systems and, even without external problems (environmental and meteorological factors), it allows the energy production of the system to be increased. It may be integrated into the junction box of the photovoltaic panels; it may be used with all the types of panels and inverters present on the market in residential, commercial and ground-mounted photovoltaic installations.
Black Magic was conceived to meet the growing interest in energy recovery and, above all, to resolve certain problems with the conventional photovoltaic technology, which is not an exact science and is affected by factors which cannot be fully determined, and are therefore uncontrollable.

Black Magic is the “intelligence in photovoltaics” as it is able to control and reduce the technical problems of photovoltaic systems and develop the maximum potential of every system.
It also provides sound results regarding the return on investment in terms of the service life of the system and the increase in energy production.
Discover the factors which reduce the efficiency of photovoltaic panels and which Black Magic may help you to control and reduce:
> orientation not optimum: to guarantee the maximum output, the panel should face south. This requirement is often ignored due to lack of space. This results in a reduction of the output of the photovoltaic panels.

> ageing of the panels: the photovoltaic efficiency reduces by 1% every year. It should, however, not be forgotten that the efficiency of a photovoltaic system is never guaranteed to be 100%: it may be 90% in the initial years, dropping to 80%. The efficiency gradually reduces with the ageing of the photovoltaic system.
> lack of immediate reporting of any malfunctions: this may result in production losses and cause other faults.
> mismatching occurs when one group of panels has an efficiency less than the others.  This unbalancing may concern the tolerance and the guarantee of efficiency.
