mind the gap
Happy 150th birthday to the Tube! In celebration of the London Underground's opening in 1863 (the earliest tracks represent the oldest underground railway in the world), we've transformed our logo on google.co.uk into a tribute to the iconic Tube map. Mind the gap!

Funny!
*I Hate It When This Happens*

Silly IE.. why can't you conform to standards better!

Edit: I am a web developer I have to test websites in IE.. "deleting it" is not an option. Thanks.

Ps. IE is no longer 80% market share.. those stats are from 2008. Lately its more like 30% with Chrome being 28%....

It's exactly as I left it! (LOL!)

A few months back I was in Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport (one of the busiest airports in the world), and I took an iphone shot of the dead empty Blacberry store. I went past the one at Airside B today and then a 2nd at Airside A and I had to stop and take a shot because even though it's months later --- they're just like I left them --- dead empty. I joked to my wife, "They're the Kodak of Smartphone makers!" LOL!

I came across two fantastic apps this week.

1. Uber https://www.uber.com/ Request a private car in just a few minutes with an iPhone or Android app. Everything is paperless and the tip is included in the price. I used this service recently in San Francisco and it worked great.

2. GetKarma http://getkarma.com/ Allows you to text message gifts to anyone. They pick the color and determine where it should be shipped. Also includes things like Uber rides and Spotify premium memberships. Facebook integration works great too. Very cool.

A Street View trike documents the Marquis de Sapucaí during the Parade of Samba Schools in Rio de Janeiro . How did you celebrate your Carnaval?
