Food was amazing but the menu for Miami Spice differed from the Miami Spice menu online. The lobster was an additional $15 instead of $10 that it says online. They didn't have hake but cod. Great atmosphere!

Exquisite french cuisine from Daniel Boulud's empire. You may have a hard time ordering such an expensive burger, but the DB Bistro Burger is outstanding. The staff is extremely knoweldgeable, and friendly to a fault. Contemporary, airy setting in the lobby of the new JW Marriott Marquis hotel in the middle of downtown. Costly goes without saying, but well worth it assuming you can handle the tab.

I could wax poetic about how fantastic each dish is here, but I'll save you the time and tell you that it's one of the best restaurant in Miami, period. From service to presentation to food, the whole experience can't be beat, and believe me, there are some excellent dining options in the Miami area (albeit few and far between). I was lucky enough to be invited when the restaurant first opened, and even though I'm not a fan of the decor, every other element of my experience blew me away. So if you find yourself downtown with a full wallet and empty stomach, do yourself a favor and visit DB... you will not be disappointed!

I like the lounge for a cocktail and a snack. They always have room and it is not crazy noisy! The last time I went they were playing music with a DJ I enjoyed it and my friends too. Be back soon.

i'm a fan of daniel boulud in general, a native new yorker and thrilled that db bistro moderne has come to miami. we ordered the db original burger. it took 3 tries to get the burger right, but when they do, it's a fantastic burger. all the different flavors and textures really work together. service (the waiter, sommelier and even the busboys) was really exceptional, and the food was excellent.

Daniel Boulud's outpost in wild Miami in the sedate Marriott wins points - the 44th street original has been recreated skillfully. The bar is "interesting" ala piano bar seats but another good selection on the Biscayne side of the river. The cool factor is shifting.
