Location - Located in Glastonbury at the shops at Somerset Square. Parking can be difficult to find if you're looking to park in front of the restaurant but usually you can find parking in the rear of the business. Aesthetics - I found the interior a bit small particularly around the soup counter. The eating areas were spacious and there were a couple tables and chairs outside. The soup counter and area where you place your order has a wall that divides the eating area from the order area so if you decide to stop and taste samples of soup, then there's a hold up to the line because people behind you wouldn't be able to get by as it's so narrow so I felt a bit rushed in trying soup samples. (-1) Menu - Clearly posted and easy to understand with a variety of sandwiches, salads, and soups listed. Service - Very friendly and courteous. They're always willing to answer your questions about a sandwich or soup and there's unlimited soup samples. Food - I ordered the zesty 3 pepper with chicken (creamy tomato based chicken soup with green, red & jalepeno peppers), the 4 cheese melt (pepper jack, smoked gouda, muenster & mild cheddar cheeses, toasted on ciabatta) and a drink combo. The soup was hot, very well seasoned, tasty and had a bit of a kick to it. The sandwich was warm, soft, and all the combo of cheeses were nicely melted on them but not so much that each individual cheese's taste was lost. The soup comes with side of bread for dipping - multigrain, wholewheat, or sourdough. I went with the sourdough which was the perfect choice for dipping into the soup. Rating - 4/5. Definitely will be coming back here to try some of their sandwich and soup choices.

The soup is great. So are the salads and sandwiches, if you thought all they had was soup. The service was friendly. Hardest part is finding them. They are tucked away around the circle out of sight from the road.

I ordered one of their soup and sandwich combos and upgraded to a cup of soup for .99. Not sure what they do if you don't upgrade, give it to you in your hand? Anyway, the sandwich was the most pathetic small, hard, cold grilled cheese. I had ordered it over the phone for noon pick up and I think they made it was too early. Making it later would have solved the hard and cold but it would have stll been tiny. The soup had a decent flavor but not any better than any place I have had soup before. I guess I'll stick with Panera!
