Woman arrested twice in one week for prostitution

A 48-year-old Shakopee woman was arrested twice in one week for offering paid sex to two undercover officers.
DeAnne Karen Cramer was originally arrested on July 29 for allegedly prostituting herself out of her townhome on Kennsington Drive.
After she was released from jail, she allegedly reposted a personal ad on Backpage.com using a different alias, this time as a 40-year-old natural redhead named Kennedy offering a “hot time.”
On Aug. 5, an undercover officer from the Southwest Metro Drug Task Force arranged another visit, arresting Cramer again.
Shakopee police Sgt. John Buetow, who arranged the first appointment on July 29, offered $100 for a "date" with a woman named Jill.
According to the criminal complaint, Cramer disrobed in the home and approached the detective with a condom.
During her arrest, she allegedly admitted using crack cocaine, and gave the detective a crack pipe that was in her bedroom.
On Aug. 5, an officer arranged another appointment. He said he was met at the door by a naked woman. After he entered, Cramer allegedly agreed to engage in sexual activity, took $150 and told him that was good for "everything." After she was arrested, Cramer again gave a crack pipe to police, according to the complaint.
She was charged in both incidents with fifth-degree felony drug possession and misdemeanor level prostitution.
Police were alerted to Cramer thanks to a tip left on the department’s anonymous tip-line.
Her ad was listed under the escort service on the online classifieds website Backpage. In a different ad, she and another woman offer services together in Andover.
Police have only arrested Cramer, although they recorded a couple license plate numbers off vehicles that went to her home.
Buetow said Cramer was previously arrested in Bloomington for prostitution because of an ad she posted on Craigslist.
This is the first prostitution bust in Shakopee since police arrested a couple running an escort service out of their townhome on Downing Avenue, Buetow said.
