What are people's thoughts about the Wormwood dimension book? I was thinking of picking it up because it looks pretty awesome with that cover that screams dark fantasy.

So, I've been thinking about buying a new book to add to my nice little shelf collection. I've narrowed it down (methinks) to the current 5 options...

1. The Shemarrian Nation (they were a pretty cool part of Sourcebook 1)
2. Conversion Book 1 (lots of monsters and stuff)
3. Canada (hear it has really awesome headhunters)
4. Triax and the NGR (Cyborgs! Mecha! Giant Gargoyles?)
5. Mechanoids (Seems like a neat setup to fight crazy space robots. Also has more Archie)

Any input would be appreciated Rifts veterans out there !

Hey everybody! Was wondering if anyone was looking to get into playing a game.  I've ran Rifts some (though I have much much more experience with other game systems as a GM). I'm enamored with Rifts but my local group didn't warm to it (mainly because of having to learn a new system and IRL issues). Still I'd love to hear from any fans of Rifts/Palladium!

So, I've played some Double Cross with my friends and decided that it would be a great fit for a former campaign that we used to run that has a similar setting.  However, one of the players was simply a badass normal with no actual powers (just military training and wits). How would you make a PC that doesn't have powers? Make up the difference with extra equipment? But then what about figuring stats? I guess maybe use sample extras from the back of the book? Anybody got any tips?
