Great hotel that is getting even better. New lobby area, and the rest of the rooms are in the middle of a renovation. Large and clean workout room, and the staff are happy and helpful. The on-site parking at $30 a day is a bit steep, but you are in Southern California...

I came to see an 18+ hypnotist show with a group of friends and the Marriott was a great venue. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and the venue was well set up. Parking wasn't difficult and exiting was about as smooth as it could have been. We didn't stay the night so I can't vouch for any of that, but as a venue it was fantastic!

this marriott is a diamond in the rough of corporate irvine. it's full bar, fedex shop, and complete starbucks keeps me coming back daily for necessities and fun. YNK is a new speakeasy bar right behind the main lobby level bar. it's open after 5pm. Ezra and mixologist Ravin bring some serious hospitality, and some record breaking cocktails.

This hotel has a wow factor when you go into the lobby. Has a Starbucks inside which is nice for breakfast. Has a ton of amenities and the beds are super comfortable. Loved it!

Back on Friday August 26th was my 4 year anniversary with my man so we though this hotel would be nice! WE THOUGHT WRONG! We frequently stay in hotels for little getaways and trips but this little occasion turned into a downward spiral, when we checked in we got to our room and trying to settle in we discover a bed bug on the drapes by the window. We were not going to let that ruin our stay but then night time came around and my fiancé was in the shower while I was laying in bed with some aromatherapy candles lit trying to relax. I had them burning for quite some time. To then I hear pounding on my door which startled me. Which lead me to having an anxiety attack from how violent the knocks were.. I go tell my man and tell him what I heard and he tells me to not worry then we start getting phone calls asking if we are in our room like what kinda question is that? I start to freak out wondering what's going on I blow out the candles and then we get more knocking on the door and my fiancé answers the door security is accusing us of smoking in our room he told them there is no smoking going on he was in the shower. They didn't believe us and just said they are charging us. Without even doing a walk through, we would of been glad to do so but he's half dressed in a towel we are not going to let them in.. So after all that crap happened I tried going to bed I couldn't I was literally shaking and crying from how we were disturbed trying to just have a peaceful night. So my fiancé told me to pack our stuff and let's leave before leaving we called security to check our room and they didn't find anything but still they won't reverse the charge. I guess this is how Marriott likes to make their money by accusing guests of doing stuff they didn't do! I would advise everyone to NEVER stay here. I will be sticking to my Holiday Inn where they make you feel welcomed!

"The White Brick Road" Ambulated into the Marriott for the Starbucks located inside (so loving the Flat White Coffee Concoction---no it's not Viennese Mélange but pretty close). The staff was welcoming from the Valet Attendant upon arrival (wearing his vermillion/nightshade outfit complete with hat and Cheshire cat smile). Walking through the main lobby it was a challenge to keep focused traveling directly to Starbucks as marital play of variegated light onto the renovated lounge demanded attention, as if screaming in unison "try me." So we followed the white brick road that illuminated the way to the lounge (Starbucks was not open for a caffeine infusion) so were led to a trendy white booth in the lounge that offered a great system called Kallpod. Basically I pressed a button and seconds later a table got cleaned or a check was presented (adore tech!). The location of our booth offered "more than a peak" view of Noah Needleman on his electric guitar, his vocals were haunting as my coffee cup (Home Brewed Marriott Carafe) was suspended in air and below its' companion Churro Bread Pudding with its three dipping sauces of honey, chocolate syrup, and a delightful caramel. In awe we listened to Noah's rendition of Bono's "All I want is you." After this amazing set a quick glance round led way to knowing grins and smiling faces of Irvine suited professionals. Lounge was packed---who knew it was a sleepy Thursday in an Airport/Business area of Irvine. I took a few humble photos of the lounge, Noah and the entry (recently renovated for 5 million dollars) and vowed to return, felt like a VIP in the house instead of a lowly patron disguised in cycling gear (Hi Guys remember me...Gotcha!) I am definitely coming back (escaped my book cave for this event). Well worth it. Be sure to call ahead for seating on Thursday---as it got busy.

This hotel was really great. I only gave it 4 starts because I feel they should offer some type of breakfast. They have a restaurant, it didn't have to be free. Just done type of discounted buffet type breakfast for hotel guests. Other than that, it was really nice. Staff was always super friendly, and accommodating. The pool was big, and clean. Three even had ping pong and fusball tables. The fitness center has up to date equipment, and fully loaded with towels, water, and even apples and bananas! I would definitely stay here again if we were back in town.

A bit of Marriott Hotels' history is parked right in our lobby. In 1957, Marriott’s first Bell Captain, Dan Monk, developed a bike riding system for the Twin Bridges #Marriott bell staff. Ask our friendly staff at the Irvine Marriott, our hotel in Orange County, for details on the bike and this innovative concept. #OC #IrvineMarriott #OrangeCounty
