RODGERS DIDN'T HATE WOMEN AT ALL! HE TOTES LOVED THEM AND JUST WANTED THEM TO ACCEPT HIM!

"He was my comrade in virginity, for he too didn’t get any attention from girls, and I’m sure he suffered from it, but not as much as I did. I was very perplexed as to why he didn’t feel any anger towards girls for denying him sex."

"... All I ever wanted was to love women, and in turn to be loved by them back. Their behavior towards me has only earned my hatred, and rightfully so! I am the true victim in all of this. I am the good guy. Humanity struck at me first by condemning me to experience so much suffering. I didn’t ask for this. I didn’t want this. I didn’t start this war... I wasn’t the one who struck first... But I will finish it by striking back. I will punish everyone. And it will be beautiful. Finally, at long last, I can show the world my true worth."

"For the last eight years of my life, ever since I’ve hit puberty, I’ve been forced to endure an existence of loneliness, rejection, and unfulfilled desires. All because girls have never been attracted to me. Girls gave their affection and sex and love to other men, but never to me."

"You girls have never been attracted to me. I don’t know why you girls aren’t attracted to me. But I will punish you all for it. It’s an injustice, a crime, because I don’t know what you don’t see in me. I’m the perfect guy. Yet you throw yourselves at all these obnoxious men. Instead of me. The supreme gentleman. I will punish all of you for it [laughter]."

"On the day of retribution, I am going to enter the hottest sorority house of UCSB [University of California, Santa Barbara], and I will slaughter every single spoiled, stuck-up, blonde slut I see inside of there. All of those girls that I’ve desired so much. They would have all rejected me and looked down upon me as an inferior man if I ever made a sexual advance towards them. While they throw themselves at these obnoxious brutes. I’ll take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you. You will finally see that I am in truth the superior one. The true Alpha Male."

"You forced me to suffer all my life, now I will make you all suffer. I waited a long time for this. I'll give you exactly what you deserve, all of you. All you girls who rejected me, looked down upon me, you know, treated me like scum while you gave yourselves to other men."

"My hatred and rage towards all women festered inside me like a plague. Their very existence is the cause of all of my torture, pain and suffering throughout my life. . . . Why do women behave like vicious, stupid, cruel animals who take delight in my suffering and starvation? Why do they have a perverted sexual attraction for the most brutish of men instead of gentlemen of intelligence?
I concluded that women are flawed. There is something mentally wrong with the way their brains are wired, as if they haven’t evolved from animal-like thinking. They are incapable of reason or thinking rationally. They are like animals, completely controlled by their primal, depraved emotions and impulses. That is why they are attracted to barbaric, wild, beast-like men. They are beasts themselves. Beasts should not be able to have any rights in a civilized society. If their wickedness is not contained, the whole of humanity will be held back from advancement to a more civilized state. Women should not have the right to choose who to mate with. That choice should be made for them by civilized men of intelligence. If women had the freedom to choose which men to mate with, like they do today, they would breed with stupid, degenerate men, which would only produce stupid, degenerate offspring. This in turn would hinder the advancement of humanity. Not only hinder it, but devolve humanity completely. Women are like a plague that must be quarantined.''

NOPE! NO MISOGYNY HERE, FOLKS! NO PATRIARCHAL ENTITLEMENT AND TOXIC MASCULINITY TO SEE HERE! MOVE ALONG, NOW! MOVE ALONG!

Love the video but... is the music really necessary? Doesn't really fit this like it might fit "The Most Astounding Fact". That said, it is, as usual, a brilliant speech and, yeah, more proof that Neil is the greatest.

im guessing that the music is supposed to emphasize the "arts as emotion/meaning" (excuse the poor summary) portion of the speech.. i think it was fine.. but maybe slightly too loud

Great start! I seriously hope their's more. Also... keep the intro/outro theme. Even if someone were to donate thousands and you could afford to have, like, a real song... don't. This theme is beyond perfect.

One quick correction, Rebbeca.

"That did not sway the Egyptians".

Actually, it did. After the blood, Pharoah actually did initially agree to let them go. God then "hardened Pharoah's heart". And this happened after every single plague.

So, in actuality, God used his magic powers to force the Egyptians to take his plagues.

Yeah.

Passover is actually my favorite holiday because of the family and the food and such, but the story is probably one of the worst stories upon which a holiday is based... well... ever.

ETA:
Ahh... and later on you bring it up... but again, the heart-hardening happened from the very beginning.

Um... Jamie? That hoodie. Where do I get that hoodie? Because I will wear it in the heat of Florida summer. It's that awesome.

Okay... maybe not the heat of Florida summer, but it is in the 50's right now, which I grant isn't even close to being cold, but it's pretty damn funny to see southern Floridians dressed up like Eskimos while I'm in jeans and a t-shirt. They wanna know if I'm cold and I'm just like... "here. This is the current temperature in New York. Still feel cold?"

As to the content of the video... I thought about going on about "cannabinoid intolerance" and "no junk food connection per se" and "I'm not quite comfortable called Brooks a racist", but then I realized that I AM quite comfortable calling David Brooks a racist (and a homophobe, and a misogynist, and Islamophobic, and basically just a privilege-blind, cishet, white, able-bodied male asshole), and that the particulars of what marijuana is or isn't aren't really on topic, so I'll just say...

Yup, I agree 100%.

I just rated DOCTOR WHO: The Day of the Doctor in 3D a "Must Go!" on Fandango. What did you think of it?

I thought the sunglasses were awesome, personally.

Also, new rule: don't fuck with Jamie Kilstein. Although that may be an old rule, and I'm betraying my noob...ness... or whatever it's called...

Also... what are the chances of a video release of your stand-up? I'm planning on getting the double-disc with my next paycheck (now that I've finally finished paying off the $3500 I owed my school for tuition... after all of the financial aid), but I kinda really want some video...

Introduction
So... I'm an atheist, feminist ally, progressive (also known as a US-Socialist), part-time antitheist, cultural Jew, guitarist, singer, songwriter, and anthropology student.

Judaism is the only religion in the world I have any respect for. I absolutely love Jewish culture and am proud to be part of it.

I love talking music, science, and politics, mainly because I'm pretty crap at talking about anything else (I am bad at small talk),

I have a blog, but you read it at your own risk...
