FRONT GARDEN IN LYDNEY, GLOS
I first visited this garden in February 2011. The garden although well-cared for was rather dated and needed invigorating.
A sloping garden is always the most interesting of gardens so I found this project very enjoyable to work on. The garden had been divided into three levels but none interlinked so I incorporated several seating areas to draw you around the garden and create 'movement'. The driveway as a dominant feature splitting the garden into two so I have continued the lawn over to the either side. This will help to soften the straight line of the driveway.
The client has been steadily carrying out my design (to the letter) with the help of his son and their standard of workmanship are incredibly high!

Site visit on 9th March 2013. Rear garden is almost finished...just the planting to do now!
You may be thinking some of the borders look rather strange but have a look later this month and it will all make sense!

Here are some photos of my latest garden project in Gloucester. The client has a love of roses and all cottage perennials, but unfortunately due to ill health within the family, the garden had become completely overgrown so I was brought in to redesign their garden.
