I wound up staying here for 4 visits this summer, as my father was ill, and I needed to spend quite a bit of time in Philadelphia. It was very convient to where he lived, and I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. I loved this hotel. The room was wonderful, clean, spacious and had great views. The staff was awesome, especially Matt who went out of his way every time I was there and helped me whenever I needed anything. Matt (and Chris) made me feel welcomed and always helped with any questions or problems. The happy hour was wonderful as well and everyone was efficent and friendly. It is a very busy hotel and I never witnessed anyone being burned out or uncaring. The only negative is that sometimes it is a long wait for the elevator, but I was never in a crazy hurry, so it was ok. You will absolutely love it here! I'll be back!

Worst hotel I been to in all my life. I decided to try the hotel tonight app and got a room here. But it turns out they only had smoking rooms. I pleaded with the front desk and manager to change my room even if i had to pay extra. But they just said that they did not have any other rooms even thought that online on the embassy website i could reserve a non smoking room. The manager stated that even if i reserved that non smoking room thru their website i would only get the smoking room. I tried to tell them that it made no sense for someone to reserve a non smoking and get a smoking room but they just gave me a smirk and said thats how they fill their rooms. This is by far the worse customer service experience i have ever had.

The room was pretty spacious and clean. The view from my balcony was beautiful. Everyone that I came across were polite and helpful. The Buffet breakfast at TGIF's was delicious. Overall, I had a wonderful experience.

A bit dated, huge rooms, clean bathroom. The TVS are newer and the view is pretty good from the balcony. Great free breakfast and managers special that comes with the hotel reservation. Not sure I would stay here again. Great location and close to almost everything. Very appreciative staff around the hotel.

****BEDBUGS ALERT **** NEVER STAY HERE. BedBugs. The hotel has bedbugs. I was uncomfortable for weeks after staying there. I told the manager about bedbugs and they did not believe me. He said he'll inspect if they get more complaints. Imagine, they weren't even willing to check the rooms until more people suffer. Anyway, couple days later, I get an email saying that Yes, there are bed bugs in the room. I then asked them for a refund. They sent to a an Insurance company. Why do I have to be the one to deal with insurance? Plus, the insurance company said no and the embassy suite manager basically said we can pay because they insurance doesn't cover it. I travel 100% for my work, and let me tell you, this is the worst customer experience I have ever had.

I pulled open the couch and I saw the biggest cockroach ever. I am miserable and terrified to be staying here for the next three days. 😞

I stayed at this hotel on Febraury 28th 2015. It was PACKED and I noticed the front desk was working very hard to get everyone to their rooms. GREATLY appreciated. They were very friendly. However, the "free" drinks at the lounge, the two old men were very pushy and rushing and honestly not the nicest. But that was whatever I understand there was a line about 35 people long waiting for a drink. The candy ran out, m & m and sour patch kids, and took forever to refill, if they ever did, I left. THE LAST STRAW was when we went for breakfast Sunday morning. The "free buffet" was actually a very very very cocky and rude man, giving you your bacon, potatoes, sausage and French toast. He gave me 2 pieces of bacon, when I had asked for another slice, he told me that would be all he could give me. I was at my limit. He was so cocky. He had the absolute worse attitude. Ive been to many hotels, never experienced "free buffet" or such a rude man like that. He should be reported. Room was nice, got to give it that. And the view was breathtaking. Everyone else was also nice, just don't go to breakfast and deal with that man!
