Try the butternut squash soup, you'll eat gallons of it.

Harrison's has a very nice atmosphere and the servers are very attentive! The food was very good; their apple, brie, bacon panini is creative and tasteful. The goat cheese fritters are equally as good, served with a fig sauce. However, the prices are a little steep for what you are getting. The goat cheese fritter appetizer only consisted of two small fritters.. for $9.00.. definitely not what we expected for the price. A great dining experience but a little overpriced.

We have been enjoying Harrison's food for years. The soups and desserts in particular are excellent. They also support local producers as well as many local organizations.

Owner is a completely rude and confrontational. Makes assumptions about people she doesn't even know and even has the nerve to say take your business else where. While I was waiting to talk to someone I could hear the cooks talking in the back, were talking very negatively about co-workers who do not have as much experience as them and called them f..king young people what do they know, nothing! You know what I will take my business else where and recommend to anyone else to do the same!

We had one of the best meals I have had in a long time Sunday night at Harrison’s. Like many they are celebrating Oktoberfest. Though they have the traditional Veal meals they also have Bierfisch, a Cod dish poached in butter, cloves, pepper, bay and beer finished with crushed ginger snaps that is simply amazing. Balancing this off with red cabbage and spaetzle made it a meal that was truly memorable. The appetizers were very good and leading was Gulaschsuppe a Beef and Potato soup in beef broth with caraway. As always the acoustics in the room make it a great place to both eat and have conversation.

I was happy to read the other excellent reviews, so we made a more expensive exception for our college visit to get some healthy fresh food (hard to find on the road). We loved the mushroom bruschetta and my husband loved the vegan vegetable bean soup, but I was surprised that the Thai shrimp came in a very creamy sauce (nothing like the Thai that I expected) and was so rich that I could not finish the shrimp, which I normally love. (Please take the cream out of this recipe!!). In addition, my son ordered the pork chop, which would have been excellent, except it was loaded with a really strong bleu chease (both the chop and the side) and that was all you could taste. He is a good sport and a hungry 17 year old, so he ate it, but not happily. I feel that the food here really is an excellent place (good quality ingredients/interesting preparation), but you better check on how much cream and cheese is in the dish you order, if you care about such a thing! If you love rich food then this is a great restaurant. (by the way, I also planned to order a soup, but found that all had cream, except the bean (vegan) soup)
