Thanks for any assistance

The person having the trouble is using Ubuntu, not Arch.  I already knew what the Arch wiki said.  Sorry for any confusion.

Hello,
I am having issue using JBL Flip 3 speakers on Ubuntu 16.04. The sound cuts out or is really choppy. Was wondering if there are certain system logs I should look at to try and diagnose the issue?

Many Thanks.

Error.... Help me!!!!  -

wondering if anybody might have any ideas as of to why I am getting this error in the apache2 error log:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'PDOException' with message 'SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'owncloud.oc_fscache' doesn't exist' in /usr/share/owncloud/lib/db.php:598\nStack trace:\n#0 /usr/share/owncloud/lib/db.php(598): PDOStatement->execute(Array)\n#1 /usr/share/owncloud/lib/filecache.php(655): PDOStatementWrapper->execute(Array)\n#2 /usr/share/owncloud/lib/filecache.php(259): OC_FileCache::isUpdated('', '')\n#3 /usr/share/owncloud/lib/files.php(39): OC_FileCache::getFolderContent('', '', '')\n#4 /usr/share/owncloud/apps/files/index.php(46): OC_Files::getDirectoryContent('')\n#5 /usr/share/owncloud/lib/base.php(282): require_once('/usr/share/ownc...')\n#6 /usr/share/owncloud/index.php(63): OC::loadapp()\n#7 {main}\n thrown in /usr/share/owncloud/lib/db.php on line 598

Long story short, I made a copy of my /config and /data folders from my owncloud7 folder which I renamed out of the way to install a new owncloud 9 instance. Thought I had gone through all the steps but am now getting this error.

Many Thanks.

An upgrade is allowed only between last major releases: oc7->oc8->oc9
You cannot update 7.x to 9.x

~/.cache/libertine-container/<CONTAINER NAME>/rootfs

I think the default container is simply called "vivid"

Hello. Was wondering if anybody has managed to get any 5250 terminal or emulator clients to work on Ubuntu touch to be able to connect to an IBM iSeries server? Thanks.

Anyone else have problems getting the Logitech K810 to work with the BQ ubuntu tablet? It connects, but I seem to frequently lose the bluetooth connection to the point where it is almost unusable.

Many Thanks

Howdy! Wondering if anyone has had issues with connecting bluetooth devices to the raspberry pi 3? I have one with with retropie installed on it and have been trying to connect a Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 to it, but it does not detect it. Also tried with a Logitech Ultrathin Touch Bluetooth Mouse, but this does not work either. When I try to scan for devices through terminal, I keep getting the same message "Device is not available: No such device". Many Thanks.

what's weird is that if I plug in a bluetooth dongle from my RP 2 and put it in my RP 3 and try again it can find the keyboard device but then when trying to pair it, I get an error "Creating device failed: org.bluez.Error.AuthenticationCanceld: Authentication Canceled"

Figured it out. The line is specifying a user ID and then a group below that. Thought I had to change it, but instead I commented the lines out.

Hello. I'm trying to run a ClickOnce .application through WINE, but am getting an error saying There is no Windows Program Configured to open this type of file". The WINE wiki seems to indicate that I should be able to launch .application

Any ideas on how to set this to run?

Hello. I am trying to run Star Wars Tie Fighter on a Windows 2000 virtual machine through Virtualbox. Was wondering if anybody has any experience getting this working? I try to play the game on the Win2000 virtual, but it seems to be stuck on loading the game in DOS.

Many Thanks.

Was wondering on what peoples' thoughts are on a the best machine to get for a linux home based server? Is the Hewlett Packard Enterprise ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 still worth it or are there better alternatives now?

Are you asking whether it's worth spending ~$500 to buy a new server? I suppose if you don't happen to have any hardware laying about, it might be worth considering, but I'd check at your local LUG 1st. Lots of people tend to accumulate old hardware that would make for a more-than-capable Linux server and will let you have it for less. A low-cost option like the Raspberry Pi might work so long as you recognize the speed limitations of USB2 going in.
