Glass-fronted Chinese restaurant specialising in seafood, such as the signature lobster noodles.- Google
"Food varied - lobster noodles were excellent, duck with 8 treasures was only ok."
"Lobster with ginger and spring onions is worth every inconvenience too."

Was told not to miss this restaurant. Was told Lobster noodle was the way to go. It's ok but not the best I had. BBQ pork was like from days ago, dry and hard. Overhyped.

I live in NYC. We have great Chinese restaurants. Mandarin Kitchen puts them all to shame! This was the best Chinese food I have ever had. During a 10 day stay in London my husband & I ate here 3 times. Yes, the queue can be long but it's worth the wait. The lobster & noodles (you pick the sauce) cannot be beat. A lovely young lady brought us the dish and served us. The smell was intoxicating, the taste divine. Next time we're back in London we'll be at Mandarin Kitchen again.

Food varied - lobster noodles were excellent, duck with 8 treasures was only ok. Service decent for chinese restaurant and the place still packed at 9.30pm on a weeknight. Not the top of my list, but I'd go back if I found myself hungry in Bayswater and the Royal China was still closed.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I would highly recommend. I live in Chelsea and Kensington, so glad to have a local restaurant like the Mandarin Kitchen. It's a small and not very up market looking restaurant but if have their food serve in the Dorchester Hotel or at the Royal Garden Hotel, they deserve to charge the highest price they deserve, as their foods are the best!

Had their lobster noodles which were excellent and a must try. Quality is on par with Pearl Liang at Paddington. Ambience is luxurious and is adequately but not overly lit. Staff is quick to serve and friendly to recommend dishes.

Good food, but portions weren't very big. Lobster noodles were really nice. Pleasant service.

Definitely one of the best Chinese in London. Everything we ordered was quite tasty-- esp the fried aubergine. Relaxed atmosphere with decently quick service.
