Little to none service, servers are like robots running on batteries. Very overpriced and overhyped Lobster Noodle, while it used to be very good during a visit 3 years ago. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Was told not to miss this restaurant. Was told Lobster noodle was the way to go. It's ok but not the best I had. BBQ pork was like from days ago, dry and hard. Overhyped.

I live in NYC. We have great Chinese restaurants. Mandarin Kitchen puts them all to shame! This was the best Chinese food I have ever had. During a 10 day stay in London my husband & I ate here 3 times. Yes, the queue can be long but it's worth the wait. The lobster & noodles (you pick the sauce) cannot be beat. A lovely young lady brought us the dish and served us. The smell was intoxicating, the taste divine. Next time we're back in London we'll be at Mandarin Kitchen again.

Food varied - lobster noodles were excellent, duck with 8 treasures was only ok. Service decent for chinese restaurant and the place still packed at 9.30pm on a weeknight. Not the top of my list, but I'd go back if I found myself hungry in Bayswater and the Royal China was still closed.

So good!! We didnt want to leave a single thing on the plate! We asked for suggestions, and we were not dissappointed with our food. Plus, its always a good sign when you see so many asians in an asian restaurant. Definitely would recommend!

This is the best Chinese restaurant I would highly recommend. I live in Chelsea and Kensington, so glad to have a local restaurant like the Mandarin Kitchen. It's a small and not very up market looking restaurant but if have their food serve in the Dorchester Hotel or at the Royal Garden Hotel, they deserve to charge the highest price they deserve, as their foods are the best!

Had their lobster noodles which were excellent and a must try. Quality is on par with Pearl Liang at Paddington. Ambience is luxurious and is adequately but not overly lit. Staff is quick to serve and friendly to recommend dishes.

new decor but line still out the door. even with a reservation you will wait. lobster with ginger and spring onions is worth every inconvenience too. price still seems right!
