The Transcendence Diaries Have Moved
Uh oh! Why don't I see any new posts here? Could it be true? Has Ed Hale finally permanently transformed into Fishy and stopped writing as he's always rumored to one day do just before he disappears forever? Well as it turns out, not quite yet.    ...

“Still finding myself obsessed with a quiet secret subtle and almost constant gnawing at my insides about the unbearable sadness of how impermanent everything is. Our lifetimes are short here. I remind myself that it is up to me to find meaning each day while I am here. I try to live my life to its fullest and even then I cannot shake the deep underlying knowing that they are all just moments lived and then soon forgotten. Where is the meaning in that?” --- from The Transcendence Diaries

Singer, songwriter, rockstar, recording artist, author, activist, thinker, anti-populist blogger, and general raconteur Ed Hale is a hard man to keep up with. Affectionately called "the Ambassador" by friends and fans, Hale was originally introduced to the world at the age of 17 as Eddie Darling upon the release of his debut album EDDIE. A few years later he started using his given name as an artist publicly. (His full name is Wilks Edward Hale XVII -- all first born sons in his family have had the same name for seventeen generations) but Hale is the first to go by his middle name, Edward, hence Ed Hale, instead of Bill. He is best known now as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the popular Brit-pop/Modern Rock group ED HALE AND THE TRANSCENDENCE; and for his most recent hit singles "Scene in San Francisco" and "New Orleans Dreams" -- both songs blasting up Billboard's Adult Contemporary Top 30 Chart and staying there for over three months, which made Hale the "Most Active Independent Artist and Song" on the chart for sixteen weeks (Hale was not on a traditional "major" record label at the time, but with the independent label Dying Van Gogh Records. Both songs were from his last solo album Ballad On Third Avenue.

Hale releases albums and tours, both solo and with his band Ed Hale and The Transcendence. The band has release two successful albums in the last two years, the epic rock-opera/concept album All Your Heroes Become Villains on November 15th, 2011 and the garage pop/celebration rock album The Great Mistake on November 22nd, 2012. Either solo or with the band Hale and company has released nine studio albums. His entire catalog is available at music stores and retailers worldwide and everywhere music is sold online including the iTunes Music StoreAmazon.com, Spotify, Pandora, Rhapsody, eMusic, LastFM, iLIke. He is currently signed to Fieldhouse Music/BMG, Cherry Lane Music, and the Dying Van Gogh record label.

Hale and band are currently in the studio working on the follow up to Hale's last solo album, which is rumored to be a 34 song collection that will either come out in two or three installments. No official release date has been announced yet.
