My wife and I were met by the friendliest and most accomodating staff when we found our quaint bed and breakfast tucked away in a private and secluded section of Estes park. The accomodations were very charming and the access to hiking and climbing in the Rocky Mountain National Park was great. We enjoyed our time there and recommend it highly. Deb & Ron

Stayed here once and really liked the Wood Nymph (one night stay) but less impressed with Shooting Star (little too small and didn't feel as cozy). Planned to stay here for Christmas but changed mind and canceled our reservation over a month in advance. Nonetheless, we were charged $25 for canceling our reservation. I find that extremely rigid and cheap. I could understand it if it were a few days in advance but with over a month of advance notice, it gives me second thoughts of staying here again. The little things can make a big difference.

My husband and I spent our 1st anniversary here. It's secluded and off the beaten path which is wonderful, the dirt road also gives the added feeling of the seclusion. Being a Colorado native and loving Estes Park this place was wonderful. Rocky Mountian National Park is just around the corner so it's great for hiking. The reviewer that said they had no complimentary items had a very different experience than we did. They had anything you may have forgotten plus some, and the breakfast was fantastic. We ordered breakfast in bed and it was an amazing 3 egg omlette with home fries. The view was wonderful, and we can't wait to go back! Oh! We were also lucky enough to share the area with other couples celebrating their anniversarys as well.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and had very high expectations after seeing the pictures and reading the reviews. We're both Colorado natives and are extremely familiar with Estes Park and the area. We spent our first night at the 5-star hotel, The Broadmoor hotel in Colorado Springs for $165/night. We paid $300/night for the Meadow Bright and had twice the expectations for the remainder of our special trip - severly disappointed - this place is not worth the outrageous cost considering there was nothing spectacular about the place. The road is awful, the grounds are like Grandma's attic. The shower did not drain properly, no complimentary items that were much needed such as shampoo or even soap!! Breakfast: each day for five days breakfast was a variation of yogart/fruit and quiche dish. The cliental it attracted was definitely a uniqe crowd - several couples we ran into during our stay were rendezvousing at the B&B for their yearly get-togethers in extra-marital relationships. Definite disappointment for a honeymoon!
