Pre-theater standby turning out French-Mediterranean staples in an upscale brasserie setting.- Google
"Tried the french onion soup and salmon - both were solid!"
"Not too expensive for a French restaurant."

On a VERY crowded Christmas Night Marseille out did themselves! We had tickets to Kinky Boots and the staff at Marseille went out of their way to ensure our dinner was complete in time for the theater!!! Fantastic! Food was just as great. The "BEST" Duck I have ever had! Wow!

Plucked it off of the internet at random, not knowing what to expect. Six of us went; six new devoted fans. Not a negative comment to be found - food, décor, service. Looking forward to my next visit.

Great French bistro food. I came here back in November for Beaujolais Nouveau day, good news they had the wine. Try the grilled octopus.

WORST PLACE AND HOSTESS STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOW CLASS PEOPLE. HORRIBLE STAFF AND MOSTLY THE HOSTESS WITH THE SHORT DARK HAIR- SHE US NASTY RUDE COLD AND OBNOXIOUS AND I RESTRAINED MYSELF FROM RIPPING HER HEAD OFF. DO NOT GO TO THS PLACE IT HAS THE WORST SERVICE AND FOOD AND MOST OF ALL THEY NEED TO FIRE THE HOSTESS. WAS THERE WITH MY FRIEND AND SHE WAS SO DISGUSTINGLY RUDE TO US AS SOON AS WE CHECKED. SHE DOES NOT GREET YOU AT DOOR, GIVES YOU A NASTY LOOK AND IS THE RUDEST HOSTESS IN NEW YORK CITY. I HOPE THE OWNER AND MANAGER SEE THIS BC I WILL WRITE A REVIEW TO EVERY WEBSITE TO MAKE SURE NO ONE GOES THERE BC OF THAT HOSTESS. I AM ALSO CALLING THE BOARD OF HEALTH ON THEM DO NOT GO THERE- PLEASE BAN THIS PLACE SO THEY WILL CLOSE AND FIRE THAT HORRIBLE HOSTESS WITH THE DARK SHORT HAIR- SHE LOOKS LIKE A MOUSE.

Warm atmosphere, interesting menu, exhaustive wine list, and adequate service - make this place a standard for the pre-theater crowd, and one choice among many for everyone else. The place has strange acoustics, and the tables built around the whole floor, which makes it look a little chaotic, but overall it is well lit, well maintained and quite clean. The wait staff alternates between over-attentiveness and standoffish; nothing in particular, but we were asked a couple times for a wine order, and then had to ask for a passing staff member to refill our glasses more than once. It's the little things that stand out, because in reality the cuisine was good, there were varied options, and it was reasonably priced (given the location, and the aesthetic they were trying to mimic).

What a cute little place in the theater district! It's got a really nice feel to it. Good for dinner before (or after) any show. The food was pretty good: the hanger au poivre was my favorite with the crispy shallots giving it a really nice texture. The duck breast was ok,it was very tender but needed a little more flavor. The service was very timely, very friendly staff. I would be coming back here again!

I went here with my wife and her family for her birthday. They had a special tapas menu on a Tuesday, including gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic sauce) and beets with goat cheese mousse. My wife liked the gambas, I liked the beets. She had moules frites (mussels and fries) for her main which she really liked. I had a tortellini caprese, which was also very good. They even had a decent selection of Belgian/German/American craft beers, though they were a little pricy.
