How do you like your marshmallows? Warmed up a little, with a nice golden brown coating or fried to a crisp?

Many campers wait until Memorial Day Weekend to unleash their inner camper but we have it on good authority that the veterans plan their getaways a few weeks earlier. Why? Because we're offering a FREE night to anyone who wants to Come Camp & Care with us on May 9th & 10th!

This is a hidden gem in Gettysburg ! Love it because the sites are surrounded by trees so it's really beautiful. It's small enough that the kids can wander around themselves but big enough to have many fun activities to do. We camp here yearly and it's always a relaxing and fun weekend ~ rain or shine!

Our first stay at a KOA, and it could not have been nicer. We usually rent rustic cabins, and this was much nicer. Heat, A/C, lights, cable tv, a real bed ( mattress more than 2 inches of foam) , a water spigot right outside our cabin. They allowed dogs, and while we did not take the kids this time, they would have had lots to entertain them if we had.

We just returned from four midweek nights at this property - felt we had the campground entirely to ourselves which was wonderful. Large, level sites with packed gravel (we had a water/sewer/50amp site). Room to park our two vehicles and our 18' travel trailer with two foldouts. Nature walk/hike up and around the hills behind the campground is very family friendly - our two and three year old boys managed better than I did. Look forward to coming back and not telling the number of our campsite, it was so perfect! :)

We have been staying at the Gettysburg Battlefield KOA for the past 10 years and would never stay anywhere else! The campground is beautiful nestled in the woods surrounded by nature. The staff is polite, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. There is always something to do at the campground or the staff will help you with tours. The cabins and lodges are always clean and well maintained. I highly recommend the Gettysburg Battlefield KOA!

We have been coming to the Gettysburg KOA for three years now in the Fall. Our two kids, ages 2 & 4, love the playground, the pancake breakfasts on weekends, the big chess board, playing checkers outside of the office. We have been in sites, 11, 12 & 4 so far and they are the best in my opinion. Level, clean, with wood rocking bench and a fire pit. The staff is wonderful. The girls in the store were super with the kids, the gentleman that drove us to our site was incredible and very helpful. The only person who seemed to have an attitude problem was an older lady that was in and out throughout our stay. So we just avoided her. The main bathroom at the office was very clean. The campground has a decent laundry facility and a little game room for the kids to play. The mini golf course is cute, but not very well cared for. The kids will outgrow that novelty in the next year or so. If you are traveling to the Gettysburg area, this is a great place to stay. Close enough to town, but far enough away to relax.
