Went here with boyfriend for a day out and had the best day. So many different exhibitions, with marine life from all over the world. Some really spectacular animals, turtles, penguins, sharks, stingrays. The park is superbly looked after and the tanks are all pristine and beautifully filled with marine plant life. Would even do it again.

I visited this 28 Feb 2014, I had not been there for at least 10 years. The water was dirty in the main tank ! full of floating debris. Glass on other tanks were smudged or coated with hold on the other side of Glass. The exhibit its self was very poor. I can't recall seeing 1 single shark. in the main tank. 10 years ago, it was spotless, and full of fish and beautiful sharks. Yes the Dugongs were great. but thats about it. Only saw 2 staff members. the man collecting the money, which took for ever to wait in a line. The other was a woman sifting out the old floating lettuce leaf with a scoop net. The one and only little penguin looked dead. The coffee was terrible. I was ashamed of this venue as a Sydney sider. Lucky I only had to pay concession, even then, it was not worth all the effort I had to go to to get there. Sadly disappointed.

I enjoy the tunnels they have over here. Also the huge crocodile is a pleasure to watch. The aquarium is great and the it's much to see. I only didn't like the staff because they let us wait in a queue for a touristy photo which we didn't want to be taken. Location is perfect. Great access by public transport.

The aquarium is a good size with a huge variety of marine life, from sharks to stingrays, dugongs to penguins and almost everything inbetween. Staff are really friendly and there's lots of interactive stuff on the way round. There's now a "passport" that you can stamp in each zone of the aquarium which is fun. I especially liked the hands on area, where you can touch some marine animals and touch a shark egg! There are lots of talks during the day and the displays are really informative. I've been a few times with international students and they love it. Sydney visitors might want to splash out on a Merlin Pass which includes Wildlife World, Madame Tussaud's and Sydney Tower, and is great value for money. If you're lucky you might even find Nemo!

Any visitor to Sydney who has only little time to spare should pay a visit to Sea Life Sydney. Make sure you visit during times that are not so popular like very early mornings or later in the day as it does get busy. There are many exotic and Australian fish and sea creatures on display, and you learn a lot about their way of living and their native environment. I love the Great Barrier Reef display, a massive wall of glass behind which fish big and small swim happily and entertain the crowd. It is a bit pricey though, so make sure you make the most of it and really get into the exhibition.
