Been here as a kid, and I always take overseas visitors here when they visit Sydney. It never gets old. The sense of wonder when a huge stingray or shark or huge grouper fish swims overhead in the transparent tunnels- worth the fairly hefty admission price.

Disgraceful - the venue was hot beyond belief due to dead, old and dirty ventilation/aircon. It was extremely crowded, the venue was smelly and the hosting company used every opportunity to push merchandise at exhorbitant prices. The entire venue had the distinct feeling of a highly commercialised venture that was trying to squeeze all it could out of an over-used and under-maintained set of fish tanks. And of course it was also expensive.

It's been years since I'd last been to the Sydney Aquarium - pretty sure I was a child the last time so it was a treat to head into the Aquarium through the Hijinks event - the Halloween version. First of all, the aquarium has to be one of the most amazing venues to have a night time event at - what a treat. The Aquarium has had a serious upgrade since my last visit and there was loads to see and do. The dugong enclosure was amazing - it was great to be able to walk through the tunnels and see the dugongs swim above you and the set up of the shark enclosures was really something else - fake whale skeletons with sharks cruising by, giant manta rays. A final highlight was the ability to colour in an aquatic friend and have it scanned it and then watch it play on the wall behind. Definitely worth a visit.

I haven't been here since the late 80's I guess a lot has change since than, now I have my own kids it's a great experience for them. A lot of sea life to see, it's never ending, always a surprise awaiting. PERFECT for family outings.

Took our two year old daughter to Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and she loved it. She was so excited to see the fish and turtles and starfish. It had her excited and entertained for hours. A great family morning or afternoon out - highly recommended, especially for the young ones.

A great aquarium that hasn't greatly changed over the years. Last time I went was on a date and I was very impressed. We went after work which meant there were much less people. The staff that work there were really friendly and were only too happy to tell us about some of the marine life they have housed. My favourite was seeing the dugongs which seem just like underwater cows when you see them up close!

Very crowded aquarium, I mean visitors. Many sea animals to see, but the glass of tank is dirty. Not only just about finger prints but from the inside as well. Plan to use 1 hour to 1.5 hour for this attraction and it can be quite warm inside the centre due to high number of visitors. I am shocked by so many undisciplined visitor flashing the animals and there are rarely a staff around to educate them. We are by all mean should do the right things but there will just be people ignoring it or lack of this kind of education. Location is good nearby Sydney CBD, no problem getting good food around. There is a food store near the exit when you finish the visit. The burger, chips and wrap tastes EXCEEDED our expectation. Price is alright consider this is a tourist spot. It was like $13 for a burger, large chips and 600ml coke. Doing selfie can be difficult in this aquarium as it was Really crowded, but you will eventually manage it. I like this place and recommend to others.

A definite must go to place for Sydney visitors and residents alike. How amazing to walk right through the huge tanks holding sharks, manta rays, turtles and many other sea creatures none of us would ever get a chance to see up close. In a short distance from the big fish tank just before the exit of the aquarium there is a bench for visitors to take a rest before exiting the stunning sea life exhibition. I have to say that it's this bench and the hypnotising happy feeling I experienced while sitting on it and absorbing the simple floating life of these colorful fish displayed that will make me go again to the Sea Life Aquarium very soon.
