What a great place to eat, just hang out. The restaurant offers indoor outdoor and an outdoor rooftop dining area. Two bars for hanging out, and the best food you have had in a long long time. Prices are about average, and the service is great. Everything is made to order, so if your looking for a fast food type of place this is NOT it.

I am positive I will never frequent this grill/ bar again... the manager is horrid... and, he seems to not be able to do anything to placate his clients. Who has ever heard of a birthday party of 12 NOT being able to separate checks? I understand the gratuity... but, come on... really?! this "policy" makes me not want to leave anything for our friendly, but extra slow, waiter... okay... let me take that back... why make it difficult for clients to pay for their meal? The unpleasant and disrespectful manager's suggestion was to "work it out among ourselves"... after hearing that cavalier statement... I wanted to give him (the unfriendly and disrespectful midget of a manager with the too tight and dirty pants on) my dentist card for a much needed teeth whiting treatment along with an address to my local cleaners... that said... it was JUST okay... the drinks were not that great (watered down and slow to arrive to our table; if you had a complaint with the drinks, we were told you could not send them back... i.e., the blood orange and the blue iron cactus drink)... the food was not that great (when the food finally arrived to our table, most of it was slightly tepid...not too mention, the server informed us that the apps were "pre-made" so we could not alter the food to individualized preference (i.e., the brisket quesadillas and the crab nachos)... and, to top it off... the service was not anything to speak of... the waiter seemed over-worked and he was slow; he seemed to be in the "weeds".... again... the manager (the ugly, little blonde guy with bad teeth and shotty customer service) makes it hard to leave a rating higher than 1/5... and, btw, folks... we did work it out... thankfully, we had a couple of math professors in our mist so it only took us about thirty or so minutes before one person finally decided to just put the entire bill on her credit card and allowed the rest of us to "pay her back" at a later time... ridiculously, crazy restaurant policies in my humble opinion... the ICMGMB is just okay. maybe. with or without a group... I want go back. my advice... go up the street to the Wild Rose! I know that's what we're gonna do next time... hopefully, I'll be able to talk about the food AND the overall experience without rolling my eyes in irritation.

Four stars for good, friendly service and tasty Mexican food. The Pollo Relleno was smothered with a tasty Alfredo sauce and was very filling. I was satisfied and well-served when I left. The mints at the door were better than usual as well. The only reason I docked a star was for the extra-long wait for food. The restaurant is very busy, a testament to their quality. The prices were very reasonable and I felt like I received a good value for my money. The whole experience felt very vibrant due to the high volume of customers on both a weeknight and a weekend.

Andrew was a great server, quick, polite and attentive. Fajitas were tasty and temp hot. Not too spicy. Ambiance could use some work. Drab colors, concrete floor, felt like eating in a government building. Spruce it up with colored umbrellas and get some paint in there. Flys pestered us as the door was left open to the patio. Options on a Sunday night are limited in this area. I would go back, but would probably try something new in the area versus "I have to go back there!"

The worst service I've ever experienced! I cannot believe the treatment that we were given. Myself and 4 of my business associates had gone for lunch around 1:15pm (which is not a lunch rush by all means). We waited for nearly 1 hour for our food and told the waiter 45 min. into sitting there that we needed the food boxed up to go. He came back with only 2 of the 5 meals. I spoke with 2 managers and asked if we could be comped. After taking 15 minutes discussing the situation they did not comp us and we ended up paying full price for our lunch. The managers disappeared to leave the waiter to tell us this. I will never go back there and I will be writing the GM to let him know of our awful experience. Sad thing is it would have frequented this place because it's across the street from our office, but not now... NO WAY! And needless to say we were late getting back from lunch because their lack of respect for our time.

I arranged a dinner for about 40 people at Iron Cactus Dallas last month. It was pretty much a disappointment from start to finish. The rep that arranges everything- and whose services you pay extra for- was not friendly. The food was mediocre, at best, and the service was awful. There were not enough servers allotted to our event (I only ever saw two), so every course was very slow . One of the servers was actually flat out rude and argumentative. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the lobster tacos were different than your usual Mexican fare and were pretty good. I wouldn't go back for a corporate event or personally.

We recently dined here and was expecting just a little more considering that this place came highly recommended. I had the street tacos and was unimpressed with the size of the 3 little tacos I had for the price I paid. Plus the flavor was bland...Not acceptable for Mexican flavors. The wait staff was very nice but waited awhile for our drinks. Over-all, it was just average
