FurFright, and our community, is truly a family. We often grow closer to our furry bretheren than blood relatives, and together find kindness, acceptance, and a place we belong. And when a member of our family passes away, the sense of pain and loss is profound.

We've lost too many members of the FurFright Family throughout the years, and we're always searching for ways to honor and remember them. As wonderful as one-time gestures are, we wanted to start a tradition that honors the memory of our friends by helping others. And so this year we're starting the "Friends Remembered Toy Drive", to benefit the Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

It's so easy to brighten someone's day, and life. Just bring a new unopened toy or plushy (new with tags) to FurFright and drop it off at the Dealer Cashier (in the Dealers' Dungeon), and we'll give you a small thank you gift. Also, when you make a donation, you'll get a card to write a personalized message to post on our Friends Remembered Memorial Wall.

Here's a list of toys and items the Connecticut Children's Medical Center is looking for:

This year's Friends Remembered Toy Drive is dedicated to the loving memory of:

Dr Tim Feltz is an unbelievable vet. Caring Hands has been the place for my dogs for many years. Even though the hospital is over an hour from my house I make the travel because of Tim and the staff. Caring Hands is just that, they take the time to get to know every pet and person that comes through their doors. If you are looking for a vet I highly suggest you take the time to stop in and get to know the staff.
