Downtown Denver’s Best …

As part of the historic landscape of the 16th Street Mall for nearly two decades, the Rialto Cafe is a downtown Denver staple known for its inviting atmosphere, reflecting Denver’s Mile High hospitality. When combined with the energetic and airy atmosphere, the cozy booths, and warm setting, it all begins to resemble the feel of a swingin’ supper club. While some of the dishes are familiar territory in American dining, the overall menu is anything but. Rialto Cafe takes on old favorites peppered with bold, rich flavors and pleasing presentations, as well as offering a surprise or two along the way. Featuring hand-cut steaks, seasonally fresh seafood, and an Italian dish or two, the menu is diverse, convenient, and a palate-pleaser for all tastes. The Rialto Cafe reminds you that dining and entertainment do indeed belong together as it’s within walking distance to many popular attractions like the Denver Center for the Performing ArtsColorado Convention CenterDenver Pavilions, Coors Field, Pepsi Center, Mile High Stadium and the RTD Light Rail. Rialto Café is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a fabulous weekend brunch featuring Denver’s Best Bottomless Mimosas with exotic fruit juice bar!

I have been here 3 times and each time has been worse than the last. First off the service is terrible. Don't expect to get your food in a timely manner at all. After we had been seated for 20 minutes I asked what the status of our food was and the waitress told me "I don't know I only put it in 5 minutes ago" and then proceeds to bring us out cold food. Each time I could tell that our food had been sitting under warmers for at least 10 minutes. Don't bother telling them how you would like your burger cooked because you will get it well done no matter what with soggy fries. If you want sub-par overpriced food go across the street to chili's where they at least care about customer service.

I'm a big fan of their deconstructed Chicken "Pot Pie" with rosemary biscuits. And while I don't see it on the menu, you can still ask for the refreshing Cranberry/Lemongrass cooler.

Creative menu, fantastic food, excellent serving staff who actually notice if you've even started eating yet before asking how it is (actually never experienced that before). Everyone was friendly & polite. It's just 2 blocks from DCPA & would definitely eat there again.

Amazing eggs benedict, chicken sandwich and lemonades. Complementary pastries and fruit with entrees. Friendly service, busy place but miraculously we got seated immediately during lunchtime. Will definitely eat there again when I'm in the area!

Fantastic place. The decor is great but not pretentious. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Best of all, the food is ON POINT. had the huevoes... incredible flavor profile. Wife had the biscuits and gravy. It came with eggs which was an interesting twist. Casual enough to be very kid friendly but nice enough to be date friendly. Outdoor seating is right on 16th. They had a pastry and fruit bar the Saturday we were there which was really nice. Bloody Mary's with great fixings too. I really can't say anything but good things about our experience.

I have been to their downtown Denver 16th street location on a quick work lunch, and ordered the fish tacos that were actually pretty good..!

They got rid of the Cuban Sandwich, which is a tremendous shame. Without that the menu is really pretty bland.
