Downtown Denver’s Best …

As part of the historic landscape of the 16th Street Mall for nearly two decades, the Rialto Cafe is a downtown Denver staple known for its inviting atmosphere, reflecting Denver’s Mile High hospitality. When combined with the energetic and airy atmosphere, the cozy booths, and warm setting, it all begins to resemble the feel of a swingin’ supper club. While some of the dishes are familiar territory in American dining, the overall menu is anything but. Rialto Cafe takes on old favorites peppered with bold, rich flavors and pleasing presentations, as well as offering a surprise or two along the way. Featuring hand-cut steaks, seasonally fresh seafood, and an Italian dish or two, the menu is diverse, convenient, and a palate-pleaser for all tastes. The Rialto Cafe reminds you that dining and entertainment do indeed belong together as it’s within walking distance to many popular attractions like the Denver Center for the Performing ArtsColorado Convention CenterDenver Pavilions, Coors Field, Pepsi Center, Mile High Stadium and the RTD Light Rail. Rialto Café is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a fabulous weekend brunch featuring Denver’s Best Bottomless Mimosas with exotic fruit juice bar!

Fantastic place. The decor is great but not pretentious. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Best of all, the food is ON POINT. had the huevoes... incredible flavor profile. Wife had the biscuits and gravy. It came with eggs which was an interesting twist. Casual enough to be very kid friendly but nice enough to be date friendly. Outdoor seating is right on 16th. They had a pastry and fruit bar the Saturday we were there which was really nice. Bloody Mary's with great fixings too. I really can't say anything but good things about our experience.

Creative menu, fantastic food, excellent serving staff who actually notice if you've even started eating yet before asking how it is (actually never experienced that before). Everyone was friendly & polite. It's just 2 blocks from DCPA & would definitely eat there again.

I went to this restaurant last night because I like to eat salmon and my polenta. my bf and I decided not to eat closer to home and Rialto is kind a far for us to go to but I was craving polenta. After we arrive there I was so happy because it wasn't so busy. Thinking that maybe this is a good sign to get good service. But.. nope! I was so disappointed because we were seated at an awkward place for a table and then the waiter didn't show up after 10 minutes. We saw the wait staff helping other people but no one came to us. There was a person that appeared to be a possible manager/supervisor but wasn't directing anyone towards us. We decided to get up and leave. While leaving, almost out the front door, a waiter told us to "have a good night". At that point we told him that no one had waited on us for 10 minutes and we were disappointed. He then tried to ask if there was anything he could do to help but being extremely disappointed we bid him a good night and there was nothing he could do for us. Pretty disappointing for a restaurant I loved to go too.

If you have an option, and you most certainly do in this part of town, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! For the first time ever I was kicked out of a bar and not because I was drunk or impolite. My friend was a little drunk and the lovely ladies next to us left a whole basket of fries. They left no tip for the bartender/manager Dave and my friend put $20 down and grabbed their fries they left. Dave told him that he wasn't going to eat their food and if he did we were going to leave. My friend didn't even eat a single bite and was putting it back as Dave grabbed our drinks and dumped them out on the floor! Never in my life have I been treated this way and for something so insignificant. If there is a law or something against eating leftover food Dave certainly didn't explain it to us, instead he was just rude and abrasive.
