Very crowded with tables and chairs - way too many tables for the amount of space. Guests and servers had to squeeze between seats to be able to get anywhere. For an establishment that bills itself as a concert venue, half of the seats had their back to the stage. There were several tables where the view of the stage was either partially or totally obstructed - again, way too many tables for the amount of floor space. I guess they haven't learned that sometimes less is more. The food was okay, nothing exceptional. Everything was overpriced. We had a chicken sandwich, a turkey sandwich, one appetizer, and 3 beers, and the total was $70 for 2 people. With the tip and the cover charge to get in, the total cost was over $90. The server was very friendly, but when we asked to be moved to a different table (in a virtually empty room) with a better view of the stage, we were told we could not and would not be accommodated. If you want to say you've been there, or just listen to the bands, just go and have a drink. There are better dining options in City Place.

Food was AMAZING!!!!!!! great BBQ menu cooked perfectly.... now the wait staff or the waiter we had wasnt as good as the food...we waited long periods of time between being checked on and drinks refilled. Other than that we enjoined the music. IF YOU SIT OUTSIDE THEY DO ALLOW SMOKING SO BEWARE

Went (Sunday) after hearing greats things and we were dissapointed. Lacked atmosphere, staff lacked personality, food was mediocre at best and over$$$$. Found out LATER by wandering around after dinner that there was separate section where a GREAT Band (BB King Allstars) were playing even thought we asked to be seated in good spot to see band.

Unique Southern cuisine, try the catfish, barbecue or gator bites. The sound from the live bands can get really loud, so if you want to talk sit in the outside area or by the bar.

Its a great place IF the band is playing.... they are mostly on "Break"!!!! Food is great....but plan on a 2000 calorie meal.....good food....but right to your ass!!! Bands are great....if you get lucky enough to catch them when they are off break. Service... a little slow!!!

Just had a mixed meat platter, delish! The meatloaf had the perfect essence of the bacon under which it's baked. The brisket was tender, tasty and moist, with BBQ sauce that's spicy without being hot. The ribs fall off the bone, with a slight crisp yet in no way dry or overdone. I can't wait to try the Catfish Po' Boy. Oh boy!

I love City Place but can not believe how unprofessional the Management is at BB Kings. I was there with 7 friends on a Tuesday night. It was slow in fact we were the only table . The band was good. We had a dispute about a charge of $6.50 on bill and instead of the Manager apologizing (even if he thought we were wrong) and fixing the bill he called Security on the only paying customer he had! What a tool! I hope he gets fired because otherwise it is a fun place.

Been going here for years. Went last night, looking forward to some blues and we were sorely disappointed! Manager said they are changing venue. Just what part of BB King's BLUES Club don't they get?! Still good food and service, and the band was good. BUT and it is a big BUT, if the name says blues, I want blues. No exceptions. BB King, are you even aware of this?
