They take bad reviews down off their fb page. I received a notice from fb that it was taken down. I have screen shots of everything! DON'T bother going there because you make an appointment and they don't show up! If you would like to see the screen shots I can email them to you, there is not a place to upload here. THEY ARE A JOKE!!! There are other ones that are around that are way more accommodating and DON'T RUIN YOUR DAUGHTER'S 6th BIRTHDAY BY NOT BEING THERE!

Absolutely love riding here. Roxane is absolutely great at giving instruction and placing you on a horse that fits your level of experience. I also love that fact that she rescues animals. Many animals you see around the barn have been rescued and given a home at her barn. She is very kind to her animals and keeps them healthy. The trail rides here are great, especially since you get to ride through a state park. I would definitely recommend Red Fox Stables to anyone who wants a great riding experience.

We love this place! Our 6 year old had her very first riding lesson today and it could not have been better. Roxanne is a wonderful teacher and Red Fox Stables is a charming place with many well cared for, happy, super friendly animals (dogs, cats, , llamas, chicken, and horses). We got ton of amazing pictures (ex. our toddler kissing a horse who leaned over to our side of the fence) and had a lot of fun watching our 6 year old receiving her first lesson. I thought she'd be on a pony and that actual time on the pony wouldn't be that long ( I'm completely new, so I didn't know what to expect), but Roxanne geared up a horse and my daughter right away while explaining and instructing in a way that's interesting to a young child. Off they went to do their 1 hour one on-one lesson while we watched from a comfortable bench to the side. We couldn't believe that our little girl was riding on her own, practicing turns using a line of orange cones on the ground. Roxanne is an amazing teacher! We are so happy we found Red Fox Stables. Price is just right for us. We signed our daughter up for weekly one hour lessons.

I would highly recommend this stables to anyone looking for a safe place to enjoy horseback riding. It is a great place with an owner and staff who obviously care about the animals. They are well taken care of and are in good health. We loved seeing the rescued animals and their efforts to find them good homes. The staff is friendly and helpful in answering any questions. They do a demonstration before you actually get on the horse so you know how to get on/ off the horse and how to steer. The mounting block really helped since I have a bad knee. The trail ride was very scenic and we even saw some deer along the way. We were offered bottle water when we got back and they took pictures of us to retrieve off their Facebook. I don't understand the negative review. It's strange how they never went on a trail ride but that's what they went there for? It sounds like someone is very angry, the competition or maybe had a beef with the stables. To bad. Their loss. This place is so much nicer than the other places we have been to.

My daughter is here from out of state. She booked reservations for her & her Dad over a month ago. They show up today for their trail ride and no one is there except for another person waiting for a private lesson. She called the owner and was told she could not find her reservation and that if they waited a couple hours they might get them in. Also was told that the trainer should be there in 15 minutes. The person waiting for a private lesson said the last time she had to wait for an hour for the trainer! So the owner is pushing this off on the trainer? I would not go back, ever! An hour later, as they are still waiting, the stable guy said hold on and I will take you myself. When they told him the owner said she had a draft horse for her Dad, the guy stated 'then you can't go today anyway. That horse hurt his foot last week'. Now what kind of way is this to run a business? Do not go there. The place was a dump also. Not like the pictures at all! The owner did not even care! Obviously the people who wrote good reviews have never ever been to a GOOD stable! Or they were paid to write them. This place totally sucks! DO NOT waste your time!

I bought a GroupOn for this last year but had to return it because I could never get a response when I tried to book a reservation. Gave them a second chance and again never heard back. In addition, they spam my email with specials. How do you run a business but you don't call potential customers back or email them back?

About 2 years ago I showed up with a Groupon and haven't left. At that time, I had not ridden in several decades and Roxane was patient in assisting me in gaining confidence and skill. I was not rushed into doing anything that was uncomfortable to me, something very important to an adult rider. The stable is not "stuffy" and I love seeing the animals; llamas, pigs, dogs, cat and goat wander around. I now own my own horse who is boarded at Red Fox, and I am thankful that Roxane and her staff care for him. If you are looking for a safe environment, enjoyable ride and good people, come for a ride...I will probably see you there!!

Once we found the stables we were greeted by two friendly dogs, many loving cats, and a goat who thinks he's a table It was refreshing to see the horses contentedly resting in their stalls with fresh water and a snack, not in the hot sun, with bits in their mouths, and no water or food. The owner came and introduced herself and talked to us about our riding experience to match us with a horse she felt we would be safe and comfortable riding. She was spot on as my horse gave me just enough of a challenge to keep me engaged with him and not bored. We were lead on a trail that took us through a variety of beautiful scenery complete with huge mud puddles, creeks, forest, pasture/fields and even a turtle. The over all experience was awesome! I would recommend Red Fox to anyone of any riding experience as the riders safety and the animals come first. I will definitely go back.
