Del Frisco's in Philadelphia is one of the best places in town. This restaurant is highly recommended and my wife and I were really looking forward to going. We eat out often and enjoy good food and great service. The food was Fabulous and did not disappoint nor the service and the staff. Great experience

Restaurant is very classy. Downstairs bar area is noisy and congested. Upstairs seating is very nice. Food is good but steaks not always prepared as well as they could be. Side item, creamed spinach is really good. Mostly a positive experience.

In the first place, Del Frisco's is one thing: beautiful. The bank-turned-steakhouse has a wonderfully rich atmosphere whose color and architecture lend nicely to a sense of grandeur. The bar was amazing as well. Service was quick, given the number of patrons, and I've never seen a wine cellar extend to the ceiling. The food, overall, was wonderful. The lobster mac and cheese was amazing! It was, by far, my favorite part of the meal. I mean, besides the broccoli. But I just like broccoli. I wish I could say I enjoyed my steak, but I really expected more from it. I've eaten some of my parent's leftovers before, and I expected their filet mignon to be more flavorful than it was. I would go again, but I'd definitely order something else to go with my broccoli and lobster mac and cheese.

Great food, good wine and a good atmosphere. A bit expensive but worth every penny. Def try if you haven't been before

Beautiful restaurant. Pretty setting. Service is good except arrogant waiters who argue when you specify how you would like your steak. As someone who has eaten in other steakhouses and enjoys having a steak prepare butterfly as to not have it charred too much on the outside, trying to explain this to the waiter resulted in a argument/10 minute debate. And in the end the steak did turn out overcooked. Other restaurants have waiters who listen and chefs who follow directions for requests. The creamed spinach and bacon is very good. The potato was not exactly worthy of being a $10 side item.

Of the four steakhouses I have been to in Philly this is the best of the bunch. Steak is tender and juicy, and all the sides are delicious. Just be mindful that they add a lot of pork products to on their food, and it's not always listed on the menu, so let them know ahead of time.

This place is amazing. The building is more gorgeous than any steakhouse in Washington, D.C. except probably Joe's. The entrance is awesome. We used the valet around the corner from the front of the restaurant and only had to walk a short distance. We were there early on a Sunday (around 5 PM) but we were not treated differently despite the fact that we were dressed casually because of our travel during that day. We immediately glance into and upwards towards the huge ceilings. We wanted to sit on the second floor, one of the corner tables to overlook the restaurant and really enjoy the grandiose nature of it all. However our hostess informed us that "The upstairs is closed." We settled for a booth in the downstairs dining hall against the window facing the bar. The bar has the proud slogan carved into the marble "Do Right and Fear No Man". Our waitress was kind and helpful, I ordered a salad and a drink (they have an awesome drink menu), and we ordered appetizers. Then we were surprised when we saw someone upstairs! I was immediately disappointed, did the hostess misstate that it was closed? We asked our waitress about the possibility of moving, she asked the manager to help. The manager was patient and service oriented. He immediately said of course we could sit upstairs and choose anywhere we like. Our waitress followed us to our table upstairs. They were very accommodating and even offered to comp some of the meal due to the misunderstanding on the hostess' part but that wasn't necessary. We honestly didn't want to leave, our corner table overlooking the entrance to the restaurant, bar, and dining hall made for a fun dinner over great food. This location is actually 3 stories tall technically with a separate wine cellar, private dining, bar, and bathrooms downstairs below the 1st floor dining hall. I highly recommend any steak lover visit this location for an experience unlike most steakhouses ambiance.

The only plus side to this restaurant is the decor, and the steak. The restaurant was extremely loud, and the our table was right by the stairs. The waiter left our table for almost an hour without checking in once. Our food had taken about an hour and a half to arrive and then the waiter voiced his negative opinion of us for tipping $45 instead of his "calculated" amount of $75, as if he had deserved it. I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor will I attend again.
