After seeing this spot featured on Throwdown with Bobby Flay, I had to check it out! I loved their falafel and for me, it's the best in NYC! An Israeli restaurant in the Greenwich Village that will make you feel like you're eating a home cooked meal but just outside (the venue is pretty small).

I love literally everything about this place, from the teeny-tiny store space, to the benches out front, to the egalitarian way they serve. The falafel is the best in the city, no question, and the hummus is fresh and tasty. It took me a while before I ordered a smoothie, but when I did I found out that these are pretty mind-blowing as well. I only wish they delivered up to 23rd st, but I'm always willing to make the trip down...

Live near Allentown, PA - cannot find an eatable falafel. Saw Taim on a Flay Throw Down a couple years back. Wife and I hopped in the car the following Sunday and drove to the West Village (tolls and all) to try Taim. Was well worth the trip - best falafel ever, pass the napkins. Now, whenever we go to Manhattan, or on our way to family in Brooklyn, we find an excuse to stop at Taim.

the best best best falafel in NYC. go for the whole hog - taste all three kinds of falafels in the sampler, ask for extra tahini, get the eggplant. never disappoints. fresh, absolutely delicious. worth the wait and the napkins...

Yum! Healthy and tasty. I got the Mediterranean Platter with beets, quinoa, and israeli salad. I would not recommend the Israeli salad, it was pretty boring (just tomato and cucumber). But the beets and the quinoa salad were awesome. The whole wheat pita was surprising in how delicious it was. I think this is due to seasonings they put on it. Wowza. With the hummus it was soo good. Expensive for what it is, but every once in a while when I'm feeling lazy, this is perfect.
