Since folks have used words like best, love, amazing, delicious, authentic etc. figured hell I needed to get me some of this magic Sichuan, being a fan of bold spice and wok prepared dishes, I hauled my ass out to Wayne with all the glowing reviews fresh in my head eager to indulge. From the outside the place is rather generic but as I entered things began to improve, the dining room was quite large, clean and well decorated. Service was crisp and efficient yet a bit distant but thats quite often the case in Chinese restaurants and came as no surprise here. Got a pot of tea for two bucks and began perusing the menu and chatting with my son after a few moments we decided on a couple protein & vegetable stir fries and asked for them to be extra spicy, the meals came with wonton soup as part of the lunch specials. After a short time passed the soups arrived hot and I enjoyed the wontons very much, the broth wasn't laced with sodium but perhaps MSG. The bowls were cleared quickly and our entrees brought to the table fresh from the wok absolutely swimming in chili oil, I mean glistening like the crankshaft of a Ferrari. The dish was a total grease pit, shame because the ingredients looked fresh and were cooked well but the overwhelming taste of cheap chili oil didn't add to the spice it just destroyed the food and it laid very heavily in our stomachs. I'm not using any of the adjectives in my first sentence to describe my meal here, white people Chinese food for sure just skip it.

Great pizza, delicious hot sandwiches and deep fried calzone! Open late - use the right window when ordering haha!!! Parking Lot Entrance Improved (11-12) This place is a local landmark, have been eating here for a very very long time, the same family has run this place for years. The plain pizza is the one to eat - crisp thin crust, great sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The "Leave it to us" is a real treat, another favorite here is the deep fried calzone with a side of sauce. The staff are always great, just know what you want by looking at the menu on the wall before getting on line (It's not that big). Tell them stay or go at the end of your order, pay, step aside, wait for your number to be called..... mmmm K? Enjoy!

Good Food Rotating Craft Beer Menu Top Shelf Cocktails The Owner Jim Is A Great Guy Menu items I have tried (Inquire about the specials before ordering) Apps Wings (Buffalo) - Crisp and meaty, good sauce. Gravy Meatball Sliders - Tender well seasoned, nice roll. Crispy Calamari - Served with 2 sauces, cooked well. Duck Fat Jersey Disco Fries - No explanation needed. Soups French Onion - Quite good. Wood Fired Pizza Margherita - Thin crispy crust, a classic. White Clam - White clam sauce on a pie. Sausage & Pepperoni - Just the right amount of quality toppings. Pasta Tagliatelle Bolongnase - Hearty well dressed home made pasta and most importantly, not greasy. Sandwiches Lobster Grilled Cheese - Pricey but good. Cuban Panino - Chef Al's spin on the Cuban Sandwich, nice. Beer Brewed Corned Beef - On marble rye bread, just ok. Pub Grub Shepherds Pie - Done the right way, with lamb. Overall quite good when Chef Al is at the helm.

Overpriced Tiny Portions Terrible Management My first impression looking at the exterior is what were they thinking? The building, formerly Fairway Dodge, has a very cold feel with it's drab exterior. Repurposing a structure that contained automotive solvents, paints, liquids and years of caustic chemical storage to a place that serves food seems like a very risky proposition. The interior has a generic feel with it's lack of character, confused menu and staff donning black t-shirts proclaiming "Bite My Burger" not as clever as the creator of the crass slogan presumed. The space is poorly laid out with harsh lighting, uncomfortable seating, odd palate of depressing colors and spartan wall decorations. The entertainment consists of looping videos and tired music from an forgettable era, as if some middle aged kid was reliving their high school daze, ugh. The food is awful, pricing way out of line and portions minuscule, our bill was over fifty dollars! My burger was a very thin patty of fatty meat served on a tasteless bun. Tuna sandwich had a fishy frozen taste, it was very forgettable and left behind after one bite (a couple hours later my wife was sick). Onion rings and sweet potato fries with their soggy texture left a greasy coating in my mouth, the dipping sauce was no help as it tasted like it came from a jar. The service was nondescript with food items arriving in no particular order, just zero organization in the kitchen. Served on paper plates and in cardboard containers the food here needs a serious overhaul, you can't charge these prices in a cafeteria environment (this place generates a tremendous amount of trash). While there a dispute erupted between what appeared to be some sort a manager and customer over a takeout order that was missing items, the guy was a total ass about it, just give the customer what they ordered instead of telling them their wrong. The woman was clearly upset and just left, this created quite a scene and folks around us were shocked. On our way from parking the car (I patronize other nearby restaurants frequently) we recently witnessed one of the cooks behind the building with his gloves on smoking and texting, not cool. With all the great food in the area, this joint is out of place. I work hard for my money and for the amount of food and poor quality I was taken to the cleaners. The other reviewers are right, just eat anywhere else but here! To the owner: Stop harassing / stalking me.

Well Kept Good Service Polish Delights Royal Warsaw Restaurant has been around for some time and I recently decided to have lunch here. For what it's worth, I grew up eating Polish food in Passaic with my dad which was never a white linen experience, mostly mom and pop places that made wonderful hearty dishes and always plenty of fresh rye bread. The restaurant is pleasing to look at from the outside and parking was plentiful. Upon entering I was surprised by the ambiance of this eatery, crisp and clean everything was spotless. We sat in the lounge which had a few tall tables and stools that where very comfortable, it overlooked the dining area which was quite nice. The bar was very bright and well stocked although the tap beer selection was surprisingly limited. I decided to not fool with all the Americanized lunch special and try some ethnic fare as this is why I came. After reviewing the menu I decided on the Kopytka, Hungarian Goulash over dumplings. It was a nice portion, very reasonably priced and tasty. A cold Zywiecs to accompany my meal was perfect, served in a elegant pint glass making for a overall pleasant experience here. Jury still out, I will return to explore the menu further.

How the hell can you judge sushi grade fish that has been drowned in hot sauce? The answer is it's difficult for the palate yet simple for your gut. It raises the hair on the back of my neck when I see the tub of spicy anyfish and a scoop. Some Asians do this just for money, being imposters that is, funny thing is most don't even notice. Greasy Seafood Pancakes, Hwe Dup Bap and Bulgogi along with Sexy & Dynamite Rolls, Sushi Pizza and lot's of spicy this and that screams not Japanese! If I wanted Korean I'd go to a Korean restaurant. Masking frozen fish with spice, covering it in pink sauce (mayo & sriracha) and crunch is the name of the game in the "specialty roll" biz and not to be outdone Ocean Sushi has all the bases covered except I didn't see the requisite Oradell Ave roll. I'd fall on my sword before all the tears a Japanese Sushi Chef would shed, specialty rolls are not very special or Japanese!

Pizza Is Good Helpful Service Layout Very Awkward I believe the three star rating is appropriate for Ness Pizza House it's a overall good pizza joint. The pie is for the most part well topped with quality cheese and a nice sauce with a thin tasty crust. The big issue I have here is that on two separate occasions my meatball parm hero had chunks of bone in the meat that very nearly caused a dental visit -1 star. I realize that this is not entirely the owners fault as his supplier shares some responsibility in this however, one should not be concerned about breaking a tooth eating a meatball sandwich. I just don't eat here anymore.
