Hi everyone, my name is Squid McFinnigan and I am a bar owner in Ireland which is a little island on the edge of Europe. In my spare time I like to write short fiction stories and I hope a few of you will like to read them from time to time.

This was a real challenge. I wanted to write a story from the eyes of a child and in the words of a child. It was much harder than I imagined it would be. I'm not even sure if I managed it but here is what came out.

Summer on Cockleshell bay, rain and wind a plenty but still a nice view.

Dublin City Ramblers with both my books, would you credit it. They put on a great gig and Sean McGuinness is one hell of a funny man. Catch them if you can, they're great men.

4.0 out of 5 starsGenuine characters molded into a story that feels real
ByGarrett Zeckeron July 20, 2017
Format: Kindle Edition
Entertaining, suspenseful, and down-home interpersonal intrigue drive this fast-paced Kindle Scout selection. All of the characters read as genuine participants in their world and their destinies, and it is no surprise that McFinnigan took some real-life experiences and created a story out of the colorful personalities that fill his bar. Definitely well written and worth the read. Would not have normally picked it up were it not for Scout and I am glad I did.

A new review in for Honeysuckle Lane, what a way to start the day. Thanks so much Garrett.
