Now when you search Google for definitions, you'll see sample sentences & synonyms (US only)

You may be familiar with using Google to find definitions, like [define fortuitous]. We've recently updated this feature in the U.S. on desktop and mobile to give you more information about these words beyond just their definition. Now you’ll also see sample sentences that highlight how the word is used, as well as synonyms. If you tap the microphone on your Google Search app, you’ll hear answers spoken back when you ask questions like “What’s the definition of fortuitous?” and “What are synonyms for fortuitous?”

Give it a whirl the next time you're reading an article online and you stumble across an unfamiliar word. In addition, try translating words to one of 60+ languages directly from the box. When you select a language, future definition searches will consistently provide a translation to that same language.

This Army Of Robot Baristas Could Put Starbucks Out Of Business
Starbucks' 95,000 baristas have a competitor. It doesn't need sleep. It's precise in a way that a human could never be. It requires no training. It can't quit. It has memorized every one of its customers' orders. There's never a line for its perfectly turned-out drinks. It doesn't require health insurance.Don't think of it as the...

The silent force: Messenger service Whatsapp has 300 million users
Most of the talk is about iMessage, Skype, Facebook Chat and of course Google's efforts to take over the instant messaging spece, but the elephant in the room is startup WhatsApp.

The amazing thing is that it's one of the ugliest app's out there and yet hugely successful. It is the natural successor to SMS as if offers the same tight connection with existing phone numbers providing identification and transparency.

Available on every smart phone the number of messages per day is staggering with 11 billion!

Even as a photo sharing service it's impressively larger than f.i Flickr (2 million per day) Instagram (45 million) as everyday it delivers 325 million photos to its users.

WhatsApp is particularly strong in the younger demographics so unless people actively stop using it when they age, its market share will only go up.

Can we still call this a short term success which can easily be replaced or will it be the 'default' chat player on mobile? With all your friends using it it will be hard to change even if one prefers a slicker interface.

Do you use WhatsApp and how would you rate it?

Should You Build a Responsive Site or a Native Mobile App?

Responsive, being the "buzzword"(?), is not necessarily the magic answer.

The first thing you need to do is forget about buzzwords and lingo and focus on the actual needs of your business.
