Over the course of the past year, we here at Marshall Junction Partners have found ourselves amidst a number of new and exciting projects spanning across each of our portfolio properties. This fall is no different. These last few months have paved the way for both managing partners, Gregg Alwine and David Barnett, to continue expanding the companies’ workforces, make significant investments in further developing their line of products and services, as well as provide additional to support each of their ongoing initiatives. Since August, each of the Marshall Junction Partners companies have commenced its latest marketing and public relations push via a number of social media outlets. Now, their customers, clients and partners have the ability to stay abreast of all the latest happenings by following along on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Our IT infrastructure management firm, Corsis LLC, has embarked on several new projects helping companies mitigate data center risk and reduce costs in the cloud. Most notably, Corsis client, HealthGuru, was recently featured in an Amazon Web Services Case Study, which examined the New York City-based online health company’s shift to AWS and the deployment of additional web servers to increase caching space. During this period, the firm had also hired new associate Spencer Mindlin, who since joining the team, has assumed the role of overseeing audit and advisory services. Additionally, in the forthcoming weeks, Corsis will be hosting a number of meet-ups, which will aggregate industry professionals to discuss making the proper decisions with your data in the cloud. You won’t want to miss these events…, the leading provider for sweepstakes, instant-win games and online contests, has launched several new projects in the month of October for clients ranging from Clorox and HUB TV Network to Kraft Foods and Boston Beer. “Certainly one of the most exciting campaigns that we had the pleasure of helping execute recently was the globally-recognized The Gerber Generation Photo Search 2012. With a fan page nearing five million fans and press galore, it’s a pretty big deal. Whenever you see any of your products, which in this case was our Like2Win application, featured in a campaign of such magnitude, it is truly astonishing,” explained Gregg Alwine. As a brand who strives to stay at the forefront of the industry, the company is in the process of expanding its market-leading lineup of products to support the growth of social media and mobile technology. Testament to its commitment to innovate customer-activation tactics, will also be featured in an upcoming near field communication (NFC) technology white paper, written by Connecticut-based social marketing firm, RTB Social LLC.

Our most recent addition to the MJP portfolio, minimalist shoe company Sockwa, has experienced quite a ride these past months as well. With tremendous growth in terms of visibility, exposure and engagement via social media, the brand has emerged as a contender in the so-called barefoot shoe market. Coming off exhibiting at both the Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City and Magic FN PLATFORM Show in Las Vegas, and followed by a sponsorship of the AVP Tour Championships in Santa Barbara, Sockwa has certainly placed itself on the map and continues to spread its name to the masses. Just fresh off receiving the latest batch of its G2 and G3 product line, sales have significantly picked up with more consumers having now made their way to the minimalist shoe realm. CEO & Founder, David Zasloff, is on a mission to maintain the brand’s momentum and continue to invent, design and distribute the industry’s next “game changer.”
