Drinks are expensive and food is priced pretty high. The caveat to that is the food portions are super large. This should be expected from a cajun place though. I tried everyones dish and I only like my grandpa's food which was one of the more tasty things I've ever had. Shrimp Gumbo. Man, I was mad at myself for not getting this dish. I'm going to go back simple for this and nothing else.

Greasy floors, dim lighting = perfection. Most of the times I've been here were late nights. Not always a bad thing dealing with intoxicated individuals. The staff doesn't waste any time. There's usually someone waiting to be seated so they kind of wamt to get you in and out. Try the oyster shots, the mac n cheese and live a little by adding gator to that. Cajun sauce on the side. Enjoy the creative tin foil art with your leftovers.

Best Mac & Cheese ever!!!!!!! But, don't eat it all. The kitchen staff makes amazing tin foil scupltures for your left overs.

Rude, noisy, stupid, caters to alcoholics. Servers are jerks who want to pretend they're your best friend. Disgustingly greasy "food". Mac & Cheese as a specialty? Wow. Why don't they just call this wannabe-cajun garage? I wouldn't take a dog here.

Great food and great service! Definitely has the Portland feel to it. Really known for its Mac and cheese but the gator bites, blackened chicken, and fried fish were also delicious. First time I had great southern food, also try the red beans and rice! Definitely going back again.

Great food! Love alligator pasta and the pesto, they wrap ur leftovers into cool things... But downside is the seating! Ur sitting next to strangers dont have privacy its too loud. They have long tables and they sit everyone one in there. No individual tables to be able to have quiet private conversations. And its a little pricy. But the food is delishious i love cajun food :)

Distinctly Portland! I love going to the Montage for dinners with friends. If ir's busy, you'll be sat down next to strangers on long bench tables - definitely part of the Portland experience. My favorite thing on the menu is the spicy mac with crawfish; very flavorful and enough to fill you up. I'm a big eater and feel that you definitely get your money's worth. Dark, not so good for romantic dinners, but great for every other occasion!

Frog legs, alligator, oyster shooters, and spicy mac n cheese, need I say more? There's few things better than sitting at one of their long tables enjoying creole food and a bottle of wine. This place is offers great tasting food at an affordable price. Get out of your comfort zone and start with some frog legs.
