Worth the wait on a busy Saturday night. Gumbo and Mississippi mud pie were delicious ! We had great service from our waitress and looking around, it seemed that all the waiters and waitress's were doing an excellent job of keeping their tables happy while it was bustling non stop. I was impressed. Great atmosphere. My to go corn muffins came wrapped up in an origami aluminum foil squirrel which made me smile. :)

Put it on the top 10 list for hosting out of towners. Not many places can boast this type of unusual dining experience. The food is good. It's a bit loud at times. Be sure to check business hours. You'll be parking and walking in the underbelly of the close-in east side. I could not make reservations when I went. Definitely 5 star rating for experience and food.

an eclectic selection of primarily punk, and the décor aims at being upscale and formal, creating an interesting dissonance. Service is, if not friendly, at least quick, though seating is limited, which can be an issue on weekends. The cuisine is creole-based, featuring lots of the flavors that have come to be associated with Louisiana. However, the prices are high, and though the food is decent, it's not on par with the bill. The servers do make neat aluminum foil sculptures to contain your leftovers, ranging from full-sized broadswords to bongs. As mentioned, the wine list is expansive, able to match nearly any palate, and the mix drinks list is nearly as large. The beer menu on the other hand is more of an afterthought, though it still contains a selection of quality, local beers. If you don't want to break the bank try somewhere else.

Drinks are expensive and food is priced pretty high. The caveat to that is the food portions are super large. This should be expected from a cajun place though. I tried everyones dish and I only like my grandpa's food which was one of the more tasty things I've ever had. Shrimp Gumbo. Man, I was mad at myself for not getting this dish. I'm going to go back simple for this and nothing else.

Love this place, great good and great date night for the atmosphere. However, don't expect too much from your server. We ordered a bottle of wine, it was uncorked and sat in the middle of the two of us for us to pour ourselves and the waitress literally ran away. I know you're busy, but really? Nonetheless, the mac and cheese makes up for the disconnected servers. Just don't go in expecting good service and you will be fine!

Love Montage!! Their mac is super amazing! Their alligator gumbo is delicious! If you have no kids with you, and the front dining area is packed, just head to the lounge around the back of the building. We found seating right away, and order our food/drinks at the bar. It was neat to sit on one of their long tables, next to random Portlanders who were awesome to chat with.

I've always heard Screen Door is some of the best Cajun food in Portland, having never been this is the standard for me right now. Great frog legs and alligator bites. The drink menu is always fun to choose from too.

Rude, noisy, stupid, caters to alcoholics. Servers are jerks who want to pretend they're your best friend. Disgustingly greasy "food". Mac & Cheese as a specialty? Wow. Why don't they just call this wannabe-cajun garage? I wouldn't take a dog here.
