+Michael Ward Yes, a great time in Maui & a break from the brutal cold weather in Ohio.  Interesting point on the dove.

This Cooper's hawk seems to have just devoured a rabbit and perhaps over-indulged based on the lump in his crop.  He seems content to sit it out and let me snap him with my E-M5 + 300mm lens.

Discovered this article recently.  Although from 2007, still very relevant today & reveals how allowing advanced manufacturing to slip away impoverishes us in many ways.

OK, we old farts allowed crony capitalism to grow and now it doesn't work any more, at least not for you.  But Reagan was so convincing telling us that government is bad, free market good.  After the savings & loan scandal, Enron, globalization & outsourcing, endless bubbles & now the financial debacle, turning public wealth over to corporations doesn't seem like such a great idea.  Now they own our government & us.  Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to fix this mess.

Crony capitalism wasn't invented under Reagan. We can hang the beginning of massive borrowing to Reagan, but cronyism has been a bipartisan problem going back over a century. The biggest pivot point was 100 years ago when the personal income tax and the Federal Reserve were installed. From that time on specific interests could fund any war or fund any entitlement they chose. Reagan simply "fixed" this financial problem by showing we could skate a few more decades with credit cards making bad monetary and fiscal policy a multi-generational problem.

Yellowlite was very helpful working with me to plan a SSE roof design only to have it rejected by my HOA. They located an alternate design (backside WSW) that was acceptable to the HOA and proceeded to get all approvals. Installation was fast & professional, and very neat (my wife is picky). The 5.1KW system came up with zero problems and is pumping out now. The AEP rebate has been approved and should follow in a few months. All told I am very happy with the Yellowlite team and would not hesitate to recommend them.
