Contrary to your corporate employers' dictum, treatment planning is and shouldn't be dictated by insurance reimbursement. You are dental professionals not insurance company agents.

Patients don't come to you with the expectation of comprehensive care. They just want their immediate problem fixed. This might not be ideal but you have to start basic and get them on board for the optimal (eventually). Building trust is job # 1.

A business owner doesn't worry about what it costs to make an investment. Instead, she is rightfully concerned with payback period. Cost doesn't matter if payback is certain and happens within a reasonable period of time.
