I think the thing kids don't appreciate is that Dads are forced into bad jokes by their rapidly eroding sanity.

Once able to juggle myriad complex mathematical constructs in their heads while speculating about the solutions to highly technical problems, they're ultimately reduced to "pull my finger" jokes and an inability to get that damn trash bag to f-ing fit into that damn flip-top lid trash can.

One of my favorite Lovecraft stories, done up in a surprisingly entertaining video.

Watch the video - Blue Origin has pulled off something amazing.

But then realize that going straight up and back down again is a very long way from reaching orbit (17,000 kph away, give or take) and coming back. I hope their technology scales to a rocket big enough to reach orbit. This civilian space race stuff is a lot of fun.
Jeff Bezos's company (not Amazon, not The Washington Post either) looks to be first in reusable spaceflight

I'm part of the problem, not part of the solution. But maybe there is hope?
Abracadabra..... you are a sandwich.

Google, what have you done to my G+ Communities page?
Is this part of your aggressive "get people to stop using G+" effort?
It was bad enough when you reduced my columns to only two with no way to configure it, but now, I don't even get my Communities sorted by last usage.

Sigh.

This new G+ has some interesting ideas about how I want to share things. Hopefully, this time it will work as I intend.
